Fish was so basic me & my now boyfriend had the fish we both have eaten better.. the burrata delicious tho.. wine good service great... I heard of marcus so many times from friends & I was dissapointed because the burrata was delicious but the main dishes were so plain.. its beautiful atmosphere pricey place.. but wouldve expected.. main courses to taste better if we can make better fish not worth it..probably better for drinks & apetitizers!View more

View more

Je n'avais pas eu l'occasion l'année dernière d'aller au restaurant. J'étais restée au lounge! La cuisine y est savoureuse & les serveurs aux petits soins. J'ai également apprécié la présentation des desserts. Je recommande !!!!View more

Marcus at the Four Seasons is where I'd go to find my future ex-wife if my drop-shipping empire took off. The service might be on Miami time, but the food is worth the wait. I mean, $25 french toast? It better be good, & trust me, they are damn good! This place is a magnet for Montreal's beautiful people - I saw more eye candy in two hours than I have in 20 years living here. If you're looking to brunch in style & rub elbows with the city's finest baddies, Marcus is your spot. Just remember, you're paying for the ambiance as much as the avocado toast!View more

I come here every time I'm in Montréal as the octopus is the best I ever had , as well as the really good cocktail bar & food in general.View more
Marcus was our chosen venue to celebrate our best friend's birthday, but our experience was marred by the unpleasant discovery of a spider in our food. Despite of the effort they did, we are deeply dissatisfied with the service we received, particularly when the head manager arrived. Instead of offering an apology, he stated, "I examined the spider, & I assure you that this type of spider is not from our kitchen; it's from a garden!" Mr. Manager, are you implying that we placed the spider in our own food? Or are you attempting to justify the disturbing fact that we found such a large spider, while absolving yourself of responsibility?View more
I stopped in at this Restaurant for brunch with a friend & it was the perfect spot to go to. First of all, the space is gorgeous. I was lucky to go on a day where the weather was nice, so they had the windows open, letting in fresh air & a gentle breeze. Weirdly, at the far end of the restaurant by the windows, there seemed to be some water leaking from the planters, which was very weird. Other patrons at nearby tables also pointed it out to the manager, so it must be a new issue they're having. Aside from that one issue, the restaurant is beautiful. The attached lounge is also nice, but needs more frequent sweeps & service to maintain a polished appearance & avoid cups left over from previous guests & chairs not tucked in. As for the food, I got the Pancakes, which were delicious & lemon-y & rich, & the Blueberries were perfectly ripe. None were overly soft or mushy. I also got some bacon, which was fine, but nothing special. My friend got the French Toast which was decadent & crispy on the outside, warm & soft on the inside, a perfect taste. We also got the seasonal juice, which was something watermelon carrot, but I wasn't a fan of it, personally. Ultimately, this restaurant is on the pricier end of the spectrum but they more than make up for it with the quality & taste of their food. I will definitely go back & try other menu items! Do note their brunch is only on weekends.View more
Marcus at the Four Seasons has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. I have consistently been satisfied with the quality of service & food, until this past Saturday night. I've been wrestling with myself for the past two days about whether or not to leave this review, & I've finally decided to do so. This past Saturday night, I visited Marcus at the Four Seasons. Unfortunately, my friend's salad plate contained a rather large spider. Naturally, we called the waitress, who handled the situation very professionally. She promptly apologized, removed the salad, & brought a new one. Additionally, the restaurant manager came to apologize & offered us champagne to improve the situation. We decided to stay & not leave the restaurant. However, when the head manager approached our table, instead of offering a simple apology, he gave us a lecture about the type of spider, mentioning it was a garden spider with a white spot on its abdomen & reassuring us it didn't come from the restaurant kitchen. Frankly, it didn't matter to us where the spider came from. We were in an enclosed restaurant space, & the distance between the kitchen & our table was very short. The main issue was the presence of a large live spider in the salad, & the head manager, who should have acted more professionally than the waitress & the other manager, ended up handling it the worst, which made me very frustrated. The restaurant team tried their best by bringing us complimentary desserts. However, if it hadn't been for my friend's birthday & the celebration being ruined, I would have left the restaurant due to the head manager's behavior. I wasn't looking to exploit the situation for free drinks or desserts. Despite this, I want to express my gratitude to our waitress for her calm & professional demeanor. I understand that accidents happen, even at Marcus restaurants! As someone who works in management, I personally expected a more logical response from the head manager.View more
