Food is good, but service is terrible. I've been many times so it wasn't one isolated incident. One time, waitress dropped water on the table in front of a guess & she didn't apologize nor clean the spill. Another time took 1 hour to receive our food (first service). They even asked us to leave after 90 minutes while we haven't even received our second service yet to make room for the next reservation. Usually you should leave 2 hours time per table minimum. Less than that doesn't make sense. Of course we refused to leave. We didn't even receive our main course yet. Service need some serious work.View more

Went for dinner with friends during our Montreal visit from the US. The restaurant is beautiful & has a bit of a Miami vibe to it. I will have to say that the menu is somewhat limited & it's not clear what type of food or flavors they specialize in. The portions are on the small side. I ordered the Pacific striped bass for over $50CAD which was a misnomer because the tiger shrimp was just as big as the fish which was smaller than two fingers (the skin side makes it look bigger but half the fish was nonexistent on the other side). We got the sashimi appetizer with a toro add on which was very fresh & melt-in-your-mouth. The Four Seasons bathroom around the corner of the restaurant has a rose gold lighting going on which makes it flattering. Apparently it's quite the photo destination as often there are mobs of young women spending 15-25 minutes posing in front of the floor to ceiling mirrors & taking selfies of themselves. It was seriously annoying as a patron trying to use the restroom.View more

It's fine. I have been multiple times. The staff is friendly but often not attentive if there are more than 5 tables. For instance it takes 10+ minutes for water sometimes. The chicken was good but sort of dry. The tomato salad was fantastic. Overall it is losing its sense of luxury thru lacklustre service - the hostess does not smile or say hello but instead just stares at the computer... that's fine if there is a line but I went alone & was the only one. For around $110-130 per person on average, they should beef up their service. I didn't notice music either & the tables had ring marks on them. Felt like a chain restaurant when it should be the top floor of the four seasons feel.View more

Dès que vous entrez dans le restaurant, vous êtes enveloppé par une atmosphère d'élégance. L'intérieur présente une décoration de bon goût qui prépare le terrain pour une expérience gastronomique inoubliable. Le service est exceptionnel. Nos serveurs étaient à la fois compétents & attentifs, offrant des recommandations réfléchies & veillant à ce que nos verres ne soient jamais vides. Passons maintenant à la nourriture. Le menu de Marcus est un délice culinaire. Nous avons commencé avec la Burrata, qui était crémeuse & parfaitement accompagnée. Ensuite, nous avons dégusté le Portobello Koji (même si nous ne sommes généralement pas amateurs de champignons, c'était fabuleux) & l'aubergine, qui était délicieuse. Pour le plat principal, j'ai opté pour la morue charbonnière. Le poisson était tendre, & les saveurs étaient magnifiquement équilibrées. Mon mari a choisi les côtelettes d'agneau (2 unités), qui étaient également tendres & savoureuses. Le dessert a été une révélation, notamment le gâteau étagé au chocolat. Les différentes textures, saveurs & la richesse de ce dessert étaient tout simplement divines. Il est clair que l'équipe derrière Marcus est passionnée par la création d'une expérience gastronomique mémorable. Bien que le restaurant soit assez dispendieux, je le considère comme une expérience culinaire qui vaut chaque dollar.View more

Don't let the cocktails menu stop you. They'll make almost whatever you want, although the Aperol Spritz was maybe a little too sweet... The ambiance on the lounge with sunset was so great that we decided to order a Seafood Tower (sufficient for 5 & delicious) with wine & drinks instead of waiting for our table in the restaurant. I highly recommend!View more
