Really impressed with the quality of their food. The chef is very experienced and everything is made fresh. They are able to accommodate food allergies and gluten free. In the summer you can sit on their large terrace on the water it's lovely.

Nothing else but a tourist trap.
We entered the restaurant as we were interested in the 14$ mussels and fries plate as advertised on the board. We were however charged 18$ since the board apparently was referring to an appetizer plate which however was nowhere mentioned on the board. The manageress had a problem accepting the error and only after a long and aggressing argument did she ask her waiter to pay me the 15$ I was claiming three who had the mussels. Walking out the restaurant I regretted taking the money since I felt it was no fault of his so I returned and I gave him back his money.
Fortunately I can chose not to return to this restaurant
My Husband and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time - we normally dine at Peter's Cape Cod or Chalet Thai. Well, now we know and will never return. I always like to give the benefit of the doubt, so here's the story. When we were first greeted from the Boardwalk entrance, the hostess wasn't very inviting. She didn't say much and just started walking away, I followed hoping she was escorting us to a table. My guess was right, as she threw the wine list and menus on the table and walked away. It took over 25 minutes before we were met by our server. I believe her name was Alexandra. She took our 2 drink order, and didn't return for another 20 minutes. In the meantime, she didn't bring water, and was basically neglecting her very few 3 tables. The other servers seemed to be very active and attentive to their many customers' tables. My husband ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad, I ordered the Grilled Salmon, baked potato and side salad. The salad came first, and no fresh pepper was offered (even though all other servers were doing so). We had to ask for water. We had to ask for bread. The main dish came after another 40 minutes. The baked potato was cold, and chicken caesar was mediocre, as well as the grilled salmon. We finally just wanted to pay and get out of there, and it took another 20 minutes to do so. Our waitress disappeared after we ate. The bartender and I believe another woman which could have been the owner, noticed and tried to find our server. Overall, we overpaid for our meal ($84 with tax and tip) and the service with this particular waitress was horrible.
Food was good but it took really, really long to get it.
First time at this place would recommend it , food was very good ,service was also very good . For three courses with coffee and glass of wine $51,. Would go back again. Really liked that you could get half portion on some of the entres.
Love it, Love it, LOVE IT!
My first time going to Marco Bar & Grill and definitely not my last. The owner Anastasia is amazing, and she makes you feel as if you are at home.
We were 2 young couples who went, and we had no complaints whatsoever. Being 4 people, we shared 4 plates, 2 pizzas and 2 pastas, The brick oven pizza was the Pescatore and the Roma. The Pasta was Linguini with Shrimp and Brocolli and the Goat Cheese ravioli. To finish off, for desert we shared the Cookie dough cheescake, and the Ferero rocher cake, both equally amazing!
The ambiance, decor, and view of the water were spectacular.
Cant wait to go back and try more things on the menu!
Thank you for you hospitality and kindness.
Verdict disappointed! The place looks great, love the terrace, gas fired oven for pizza really nice. So far so good but they do know how to season. My wife started with the salad, looked nice enough, but I saw her adding salt midway through & she never adds salt. Had the calamari they looked great but they were totally tasteless and so was the tzatziki, totally bland found myself adding salt to it just to get some flavor. The yoghurt was nice and thick but no tanginess to it what so ever. In any case don't get the idea of serving tzatziki with calamari, much better with a nice aioli or a spicy marinara or simply fresh lemon, but as I said they had no flavour. The worst part was the filet mignon, no problem with meat quality, tender juicy, but again somewhat under seasoned. Asked for it med arrived rare (wife's preference not mine), but I sent it back because what they tried to pass off as garlic mash was a joke. Lumpy, flavorless potatoes without a shred of garlic. Held it to my nose and smelled it there was no garlic. That was enough to upset me, because what is a nice piece of meat without a great side. We shared the pescatore pizza which was fine. This place has so much potential and Ste-Anne needs places like this, but I wish they would stop catering to the tourists and start cooking with gusto and passion because the difference is in the details. Will give this place more chance. Cheers
If you are hungry, skip this place... the wait for food is far too long. They have a very nice location, but waiting an hour for your meal reveals inefficiency in the kitchen.
Best mussels I've ever had. They melt in your mouth with deliciousness and a very creamy sauce mmmm. And the fries are nice and salty, very trendy location !!!
The first time we went to Marcos, the service was very slow probably because there was a huge group dining inside and the place was packed. We waited over an hour for our mussels, which were delicious and somewhat made up for the long wait. The second time around, the service was much better because there were fewer people dining, and the food again was very good notably the shrimp sambucca which was very tasty.
