Restaurant Moon Star is a hidden gem located in Park-Extension.
The food they serve, especially their chicken roast polao, is among the best of Bengali cuisine. It is juicy & mouth watering & you won't leave this restaurant without getting more meals to eat at home.

The food was incredible! We ordered the chicken biryani & beef tehari-both were freshly made & full of flavor. The dishes reminded me of the home-cooked meals I grew up with in my Bengali family. We had sehri at Marche Moon Star a couple of night ago. 3 of us got the sehri platter (we chose chicken curry, shorshe ilish & beef bot as the proteins, alongside rice, daal, 2 types of bhorta, mixed vegetable & salad) & 1 of us got roast polao dish. The food was super tasty & fresh. We even got complimentary fruit & desserts from the owner & discounted price for the meal. The service is amazing as well. They are open 24/7 for the whole month of Ramadan. Highly recommended!!View more

I stumbled across this store by accident, & it has been an incredible experience so far. I have become a regular here, since they cater for midnight owls like me.
