Founded in 1986, Marché Andes has become the epicentre of the best-imported Latin-American products in Montreal. We also offer a restaurant with ready to serve or take-out meals from different countries, delicious baked goods and a butcher specialized on all Latin-American meats and sausages. Stepping into our store will bring you into a colourful and flavourful world filled with delicious aromas from Mexico, to Central America and all of South America!
Marché Andes is described as a combined Latin American market and restaurant with an authentic, wide range of flavors from across the region. The restaurant area earns praise for good quality and variety, and the staff are repeatedly noted as friendly and helpful, with ample meat options and convenient takeout. The market side is celebrated for its extensive Latin groceries, produce and bakery, along with a connected butcher and a broad selection of home Latin products. Some reviews flag high prices and occasional inconsistency in freshness, including meat that is very dry and pastries that are not always fresh, plus remarks about narrow aisles and price changes after COVID. Overall, the place is viewed as a reliable go-to for Latin American foods, groceries and meals, valued for its heritage and breadth, even as price and freshness fluctuations are kept in mind.
We are so disappointed with my husband. We went there bought some condiments from Peru only to find out that it is expiring the next day. They shouldn't sell it at all!! There's no way we can return it right now because we drove all the way from Ontario. Very disappointed. We will never come back again.

Major hidden gem for Latin food in Montreal. Had no idea there were Latin establishments this old in Montreal. To my knowledge the food seems to center around Colombian & Salvadoran eats but not limited to those for a truly pan-Latin experience. This applies especially to the market section which has a variety of imported goods from down south. This a must visit for lovers of Latin food.
