Review Summary

Marché Andes is widely regarded as a valuable destination for authentic Latin American groceries and prepared dishes, offering a broad selection of imported goods that are otherwise difficult to source in the city. Many patrons praise the delicious food, particularly the chicharrón, empanadas, and various grilled specialties, often highlighting the welcoming nature of the family-run establishment. While the vast majority of visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful service provided by the staff, some feedback notes inconsistencies regarding price, food freshness, and the demeanor of specific employees. Despite occasional concerns about narrow aisles or fluctuating quality, the overall consensus paints the establishment as a convenient and essential hub for those seeking traditional flavors and specialty ingredients.

Service in the restaurant area is not very good as the ladies behind the counter are borderline rude, even when i order in Spanish.
The prices are quite high compared to other restaurants in the area offering pupusas, & the size are also not up to par for pupusas.
The market has better service when it comes to workers, however I bought two quesadillas (cakes) & when i arrived home to eat them they were extremely dry, in edible. I drove almost 2 hours from home for this & obviously cannot simply bring them back to return them.
Plenty of other great salvadorian restaurants right down the street.
