The best African restaurant in Griffintown / on Notre Dame street 😇😇 The decor of the restaurant is very ethnic & we loved the paintings ❤?❤? The staff is super kind, helpful, & on their feet taking very good care of the customers 😇😇 We started with beer & hibiscus drink & they were so delicious ❤?❤? For the main meal my partner had the Poulet de Marquis while I had the Choukuya de chèvre & wow 😍😍 The food was beyond delicious & it was definitely the goat that was beyond tender & our full compliments to the chefs for making this heaven on earth 🙏🙏 For dessert we had the fried doughballs with maple syrup & powdered sugar & once again super tasty ❤?❤? Cannot wait to come back to this 11/10 restaurant & try other authentic African dishes on the menu surrounded by an incredible staff 😇😇
De passage à Montréal pour une conférence, je me suis arrêté chez Maquis Yasolo pour souper. La nourriture était excellente!! Je recommande fortement pour les amateurs de bonne nourriture africaine & tous les autres aussi!
Franchement la propriétaire était super gentille & très accueillante. La nourriture était très locale & c'était fait avec amour, j'ai bien aimée l'ambiance. C'était propre & efficace & je conseille vivement aux gens d'y aller faire un tour, vous ne le regretter & pas. Merci pour le bon service.

Delicious homey food, the fish was to die for, the best in the city & the chicken was so flavorful! Dine in experience was so warm & beautiful, I would recommend. They even accomodate for allergies. Their plantains & spicy sauce are so good, will come back for sure!! Thank you

Le resto est tres propre & le pers personnel est très accueillant. La nourriture est booonne. Mon poisson est bien assaisonné & le atieke bien cuit. Je vous recommande de faire un stop quand vois êtes à Montréal.
I went with my friend here. Amazing food, ambience & friendly service. Got the chicken mafya & the goat. The jollof rice was delicious. Definitely recommend.
Their food was absolutely delicious, the meat was cooked perfectly & the sauces were extremely flavourful, would recommend to anyone for a satisfying, comforting meal
Nous avons appelé avant de venir manger & la dame au téléphone nous a informés que le restaurant était presque plein, mais qu'elle pouvait nous trouver deux places. Une fois sur place, on nous a finalement fait savoir que le restaurant avait été réservé pour une famille. Pourtant, nous avons fait 30 minutes de route pour arriver jusque-là. Franchement, ce restaurant est à déconseiller. Si je pouvais, je mettrais moins d'une demi-étoile.
