Though the ladies at the counter were very pleasant, the coffee & the experience were not.
I asked for a Cortado & a scone to have inside. The Cortado initially came in a to-go cardboard cup... & upon asking for it in an actual cup I realized how big it was(see picture) more like a watered down latte.
As for my scone, it was cold. Not room temp but fridge temp. I asked for it to be warmed up, which it was & quickly.... In the microwave...

Beautiful ambience & perfectly situated in the north end of Nun's Island. An absolute local treasure & a biker's favorite. We were biking around the island & decided for a pit stop for some parties & coffee. The cafe is clean & well stocked. Cappuccinos are also delicious, not the best in the city, but a good size of caffeine for your buck. If you are wondering in the neighborhood or merely living in the vicinity, it is a landmark🤩

Coffee is always good. But limited choices of croissants & viennoiseries. Also, service is a bit slow.

Came in for a quick coffee & croissant. Got an americano & thyme croissant. Good coffee. The thyme croissant was pretty good, would recommend it! The shop offers a variety of pastries. The cakes looked very good. They also have bread, packaged brownie mix, waffle mix, crepe mix & cake mixes. They have seating indoor & a nice outdoor patio with many picnic benches. Great neighborhood coffee shop.

It's a great little coffee house with a few tables inside & some picnic tables outside. There are fresh baked goods & some other grab & go products as well. I was there around 11am for coffee & it seemed to be very popular as several other customers were enjoying coffee & snacks on the tables outside.

I absolutely love their pastries here especially the chocolatine. Service is what threw me off: ordered an iced coffee, the employee comes & gives me a HOT coffee & puts a few ice cubes inside in front of me. Of course it immediately melts off. I went back & said to her maybe she mistaken my order. She straight up said: well this is how it was always served HERE. If you don't like it, next time you can order regular coffee. Never coming back

This is a cute bakery on nuns island! Amazing almond croissants but the coffee is not great unfortunately. If they could work on the coffees then this would be a five star review. Nice picnic benches outside to eat in the summer which we love. Nice staff too!
