Afficher toutsandwich(78) lebanese(43) taouk(35) lebanon(32) sandwiches(28) recommend(27) chicken(25) fries(23) tasty(16) garlic(16) highly recommend(15) burger(15)During my recent visit, I noticed that the taouk tasted different. Additionally, I was concerned about hygiene when I saw a woman & a man preparing sandwiches while chewing gum. For a restaurant that adheres to the ISO 22000 food safety management standard, chewing gum should be prohibited for staff to maintain high hygiene standards.
A taste of Lebanon authentic tawook right in the middle of Montreal. The chicken tawook sandwich is flavorful, juicy, & big. You get to see their generosity in ingredients while they make your sandwich.
Les sandwichs sont délicieux. J'aurais aimé les pomme de terres traditionnelles plutôt que les frites
the food is amazing, fresh & the sandwich is just like the one in lebanon
Love the food! A taste of Lebanon! The tawouk sandwich was great & the lebanese burger is amazing! Great garlic dip!
Amazing Sandwiches as usual! I will always come back for the taouk sandwich.
My first time was better then the second one i didnt enjoy the taouk sandwich
Really less than average. Big large portions but the problem is that not was not tasty. Nothing to do with the real deal you would have in Lebanon & even in the UAE. The ketchup addition beats me. While it is common in the traditional lebanese potato sandwich, it really is a twist that I find strange in the shish taouk. Still, some people seem to appreciate it: good for them. We would surely not do.it again. Sorry
Chicken was in large cubes & not cooked to order. Just sitting in a pile in a corner of the grill drying out while waiting for orders. Fries were not fresh. For a place that's pretty much just about Chicken & fries, this was hugely disspointing. Sandwich is cold mush. Wasn't busy. No excuse for it. This place was WAY overstaffed. What was everyone doing if not cooking food to order? Boustan (2 original locations) is miles better.
I don't what's with all the hype about this restaurant! This is a sandwich you can make at home... Nothing special about it. Normal coleslaw, cavindish fries, ketchup & lightly seasoned chicken.. don't get me wrong it's a good sandwich but nothing special... But the value for what you pay is amay... It's a huge. Sandwich... So that was the best part about it...
Commande via Uber Eats. Pain extrêmement sec & très peu de sauce dans le sandwich. Carré de poulet trop gros & pas finement coupé. Ce n'est pas le meilleur restaurant de Montréal dans ce type de nourriture. Enfin, la livraison a été très longue.
The taste is very normal not like we heared & expected, the regular sandwich was not juicy almost dry & guess what they using American pickles that made the taste worst, only the price is suitable by paying 10.5 for regular & 8,50 small one
I've been twice so far & went for the Tawouk sandwich with cheese both times. The size of the sandwiches is great, the regular is quite large so you don't even need a side of fries. It's a delicious sandwich, although a bit light on the veggies in comparison to Shawarma's which I am more accustomed to. The garlic sauce heavily dominates the flavours of the wrap. This place is pretty popular so the wait times can get long. In consideration of how busy they are, seating availability can be a problem. The place is kept clean though & generally well-run.
This place deserves nothing less than 5+ stars. This is not because I am Lebanese & I am missing Lebanese food. I can have that at home. I rank Malak Al Tawouk in Montreal #1 (Lebanese Fast Food) in terms of staff, quality, taste & generosity. I still can't believe their pricing for the taste & the sandwich I got. Those who worry about the sandwich being thick ask them to make it the way you like & they will. I wish you all the best & hope that you expand & have more branches.*****+
