Restaurant Maison Indian Curry, located in Parc-Extension, offers both North and South authentic Indian cuisine. South Indian cuisine is rice based. Rice is combined with lentils to make wonderful dosas, idlis and vadas. These items are glorious and delicious besides being nourishing and digestible. The South Indian food is a brilliant blend of flavors, colors, seasoning (a little hotter than North India food), nutritional balance, fragrance, taste, and visual appeal. A typical North Indian meal would consist of chappatis or parantha (unleavened flat breads), pilafs, dals, curries all seasoned with fresh ingredients. Tandoori cooking is a north Indian specialty and famous all over the world. Tandoori chicken, naan, tandoori kebabs and shrimps are a hit at Maison Indian Curry (Indian Curry House). The Masala dosa(Indian crêpe made by stuffing a dosa with a lightly cooked filling of potatoes, fried onions and spices) is also amongst the best in Montreal. The authentic food, friendly service and cozy ambiance will have you going back to Maison Indian Curry on a regular basis.
Reviews describe Maison Indian Curry House as offering authentic Indian flavors with generous portions at very reasonable prices, a vibe that is warm and welcoming, and service that is generally friendly and efficient. The menu earns praise for staples like butter chicken, korma, paneer, naan and a variety of curries, with many noting strong value whether dining in or ordering takeout, while also highlighting a cozy dining room and a bustling atmosphere, though a few reviews point to occasional inconsistencies in quality, heavy spice levels, or disturbances during service and some deliveries tasting a bit lacking.

One of the best, or maybe even the best Indian restaurant in Montreal... period. Great prices & fantastic staff. An absolute must for Indian food aficionados.
Just ordered from this place a chicken Tikki Masala, amongst other things. They will take you for a fool & remplace the chicken for tofu without informing you! So don't be surprised if, like me, you receive a substitute dish instead of what you've ordered. This is highly unprofessional of any kitchen; knowing soy is one of the most common allergies! This is unacceptable!
