Rice is combined with lentils to make wonderful dosas, idlis and vadas. These items are glorious and delicious besides being nourishing and digestible. The South Indian food is a brilliant blend of flavors, colors, seasoning (a little hotter than North India food), nutritional balance, fragrance, taste, and visual appeal. A typical North Indian meal would consist of chappatis or parantha (unleavened flat breads), pilafs, dals, curries all seasoned with fresh ingredients. Tandoori cooking is a north Indian specialty and famous all over the world. Tandoori chicken, naan, tandoori kebabs and shrimps are a hit at Maison Indian Curry (Indian Curry House). The Masala dosa(Indian crêpe made by stuffing a dosa with a lightly cooked filling of potatoes, fried onions and spices) is also amongst the best in Montreal. The authentic food, friendly service and cozy ambiance will have you going back to Maison Indian Curry on a regular basis.

I liked the food but I can't say that it was wow. The staff were nice & welcoming, the atmosphere was calming & cool. The food was prepared quickly & it was freshly cooked & hot. There were some stuff I didn't like . The waitresses came to our table manyyyy times asking if we need anything. Actually it is nice to some degree but it was really tooo much. We felt being under their supervision & that made us feel watched all the time . & also we saw it that they were staring at us & this wad really a red flag. Other than that, we noticed hair in the food that was not pleasant at all & made us decide that it would be our last time trying Indian food as it was also our first time!!!

First time I ever tried indian food in my life, I almost cried. It is absurdly incredible. I could die now without actually going to India. 😮‍💨🤌🏼 Samosas are a MUST! The only thing is that it gets really noisy when crowded- which is always. So take it in consideration if you're sensible to it... I keep coming back anyways, so worth it.

J'ai adoré ce restaurant indien la nourriture est très bonne. Le menu est varié. J'ai essayé une bière de l'Inde, j'ai vraiment adoré le goût. Ce restaurant est très propre.
