This place is phenomenal in every way possible. The ambiance in general was amazing from the performers, the unique decorations (especially the numerous chandeliers) & the service we received! House of Jazz was exactly what we needed to remind my friends & I how much we enjoyed being in the moment & surrounded by live music. I would also like to highlight that they were very generous by not putting too much ice in our drinks 🥂✨

Been here a few times. The place has a amazing vibe.
But the only issue they have that you would book a table near the stage! Then a day before your day of booking, they call you & say that there are no available tables near the stage! The only tables available is on the second floor where you can only hear the music but not see the band! They should sort out their customer service specially for returning customers.

Went on july 6th for my bday ! I enjoyed my dinner. I love all types of music & performances so I was in my element! But this is not a place where you can invite anyone , especially if they are not fond of jazz or open minded... The food was ok. The drink was ok . Be careful with the 15$ band charge, they charge for each guests & that doesn't even cover the tips... In this economy, its a lil bit excessive for a none gastronomic restaurant. & restaurants with bands there's plenty like that in mtl & they dont charge for bands... Anyway, its a restaurant for special occasions but I'm not going to attend regularly... Nonetheless, I had fun!! The decor was amazing !!

Super soirée avec spectacle jazz. Beaucoup d'ambiance. Le decor kitsch est super réussi avec de multiples chandeliers & une boule disco qui nous mettent tout de suite à la fête. Grandes tables parfaites pour les groupes mais des sections avec des tables à 2 sont aussi disponibles. Les musiciens étaient incroyables. La nourriture était bien correcte, bonnes portions, servi chaud & de bonne qualité. Certaines tables autour de nous ont attendu longtemps avant d'être servi mais ont été compensés par un cadeau de la maison. Très belle expérience en général !

We had a great time at The House of Jazz! The food was absolutely delicious & the cocktails were amazing - perfectly balanced & beautifully presented. Although our reservation wasn't honored as expected & we were seated upstairs in a more hidden area, the staff made it up to us with two rounds of shots, which we really appreciated.

The live show was truly impressive & full of energy, adding so much to the overall experience. That said, the space does feel a bit overwhelming - there's a lot going on visually, which can make it hard to fully relax & take it all in.

Still, the combination of great food, drinks, & music makes it a unique spot worth visiting!

Ça m'embêtais de faire la route jusqu'à Laval mais ça valait largement le coup je ne regrette pas! Tout le personnel dans exception a été parfait avec nous, souriant agréable & serviable. La nourriture est en conséquence & super bonne! L'ambiance est à couper le souffle le décor & les musiciens/chanteur sur scène incroyable bref magique! Je recommande pour passer une excellente soirée à 100%

This was my first time visiting House of Jazz & it was fantastic. I went there for a birthday celebration & we all had a super time. I especially loved the groovy vibes of Michelle Sweeney & her band. Her 3 sets included a melange of all genre of music. She even threw in some Latin beats that got you on your feet. The musicians surprised us also with their solos. What great voices!!! Michelle Sweeney's performance was simply outstanding.

I had high expectations for House of Jazz Laval, but unfortunately, it fell short. The food was heinous-bland, overpriced, & far from what you'd expect at a place that markets itself as an upscale jazz venue. The ambience was dull, & the jazz felt uninspired. To top it off, a $13 bottle of wine from the SAQ was priced at almost $50-an outrageous markup for such a lackluster experience. Overall, not worth the visit. There are far better spots in Laval for both dining & live music.

I had a pretty good time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic-very welcoming & had a great vibe. The live band was the highlight of the evening; they played wonderfully & really set the tone for a fun experience.

However, the food didn't live up to expectations. While it wasn't bad, it was definitely just'mid' - nothing to rave about, but also nothing to really complain about. Overall, if you're looking for a good time with great music & a lively atmosphere, it's worth a visit, but don't expect the food to steal the show.

Nous sommes allés samedi le 15 février pour souligner la St-Valentin. L'ambiance était fantastique, festive. La nourriture parfaite, excellente. Le service impeccable. Les serveurs & serveuses sont venus nous voir plusieurs fois pour s'assurer que tout était parfait. On a passé une merveilleuse soirée avec ces musiciens & chanteurs. Michelle Sweeney nous met dans l'ambiance dès qu'elle arrive sur scène. Nous allons y retourner c'est certain.
