Belle ambiance,beau spectacle mais bizarre du disco dans un établissement qui se dit style Jazz. Le repas était bon mais très dispendieux (200$ pour 2 + pourboires)! 75 minutes avant d'avoir enfin notre entrée sur la table. L'éclairage s'est éteint à 2 reprises sans savoir la raison. Il n'y avait pas d'éclairage d'urgence durant la panne! Suite à cet incident, je me demandais où sont les sorties de secours. A mon avis, il y a trop de table dans le restaurant. Les serveurs ont peine à circuler. En résumé, cet établissement mérite d'être visité. Car unique en son genre.

Great place , great food, somptuous decor & ambiance. A bit pricy. I wouldn't charge cover if I order a meal even on Saturday night. Band was good & singer was great but hardly any jazz.

I had high expectations for House of Jazz Laval, but unfortunately, it fell short. The food was heinous-bland, overpriced, & far from what you'd expect at a place that markets itself as an upscale jazz venue. The ambience was dull, & the jazz felt uninspired. To top it off, a $13 bottle of wine from the SAQ was priced at almost $50-an outrageous markup for such a lackluster experience. Overall, not worth the visit. There are far better spots in Laval for both dining & live music.

Wow wow wow. Where do I even begin. This is the single best jazz club I've ever had the opportunity to go to. The place is simply fabulous & looks like it's straight out of a movie of some kind. I was greeted by the owner & an employee & they accompanied me to my reservation spot. While we were going to the second floor where u was meant to enjoy my meal, I was able to take a quick glance around me & see a panoply of well decorated spaces with specific lights creating an even more interesting & jazzy atmosphere. I never would've thought a bright gem like that one could have been hiding right there in plain sight. We had originally made a reservation for 9 people & we had requested to be put in a little room. The room will be in the videos & it was gorgeous as well. I had been there before & never even knew that it existed. The staff came regularly to ensure we were all ready to order & just to see if there was anything they could help us with. The food took an average time of 27 minutes to arrive, & I must say that it is extremely impressive that it was done so quickly seeing as we had all ordered different kinds of meals & were still served at around the same time. My meal was well plated & the tastes simply embraced my tongue like a warm & nice hug. They were gentle & agressive, offering a wide array of various sensations & flavours which all complemented one another so perfectly. I was amazed.

One thing that is important to note is the price of your entry. It was 15$ more per person because we had to pay for the band & frankly I'd have paid them much more for how good they played. Then there's also something you must look at. Just make sure you are aware that the price of the shots are marked for individual shots & not for the whole round. One of my friends hadn't picked up on that little subtlety & was quite shocked once the bill arrived. Other than that, excellent everything. I'm super glad I got to be there & enjoy myself with my friends.

10/10 would recommend

We had an amazing time at House of Jazz in Laval for a group party! The atmosphere was fantastic-live music set the perfect vibe for an unforgettable night. One Love Project was hosting the musician jam night, & the talent on stage was incredible. The mix of musicians kept things fresh & exciting, making for a truly special experience.

Beyond the music, the ambiance of the venue is something else! The chandeliers & unique decor give the place a vintage, upscale feel that makes it stand out. It's a setting that feels both elegant & lively, perfect for a night out.

The food & drinks did not disappoint! Their burger was absolutely delicious, & the drinks were well-crafted & hit the spot. The service was friendly & attentive, making sure our group had everything we needed.

If you're looking for a place with great live music, a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, & fantastic food & drinks, House of Jazz is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

Une soirée exceptionnelle sur toute la ligne. Nous célébrions l'anniversaire de ma fille & sommes allés à la Maison du Jazz le 20 décembre 2024 au soir. Le décor est à couper le souffle. Art déco, chargé de lustres, d'ornementations & d'éléments décoratifs typiques de cette époque. Nous étions 5 & avons pris cocktails, vin, entrées & repas principal. Chacun de nous a adoré son repas qui était succulent & préparé à la perfection. Les coupes de viande étaient belles & la cuisson à point. & que dire du spectacle! Les artistes sont très généreux & présents. Leur engagement envers la foule était authentique. La chanteuse Venus Mary Grace était si belle, vêtue d'une robe de velours, marabout de plumes, chaussures satinées & gants rouges, elle était comme un rubis entouré de diamants. Elle a été d'une grande gentillesse & générosité envers nous en soulignant l'anniversaire de notre fille de manière inoubliable. Mathilde s'est sentie la reine de la soirée. Bref, c'était une première mais certainement pas une dernière. Nous recommandons cet endroit pour l'ensemble de l'oeuvre & pour vivre une expérience de choix. J'avais l'habitude d'aller à celui à Montréal pour mon anniversaire, & ce, depuis quelques années. Puisqu'il est maintenant fermé, on réserve à celui-ci. La bouffe ça va, le service, ça va, mais pour l'ambiance j'ai été terriblement déçue! Ça s'appelle la Maison du jazz, donc en allant là-bas pour mon souper d'anniversaire je m'attendais à ce genre de musique... & bien non! C'était une soirée salsa! J'ai été tellement déçue que je n'y suis jamais retournée. C'est quoi ça sérieux

Very disappointed with my experience. Went on the friday night to listen to good jazz music but country was playing & once the jazz band was supposed to come in, they had technical issue that took them 1h to fix... Had hair in my dessert & definitely not worth it to pay 10$/pers to hear no one play. Service was extremely slow, i had to ask for the dessert card, the bill, the machine to pay & etc. Definitely not the kind of service you expect when you spend more than 100$/pers.

C'était ma première fois à la Maison du Jazz pour l'anniversaire d'une amie, & j'ai été très agréablement surprise. Le serveur était très aimable & a dépassé nos attentes. La chanteuse sur place était impressionnante. Nous n'avons pas mangé sur place, mais nous avons pris l'apéro, & c'était très bien. Je recommande vivement ! C'est sûr que je reviendrai, surtout lorsque Shaharah Sinclair sera de retour !

It was my first time at House of Jazz, & I loved it. The décor is so amazing with all the chandeliers & lights. The staff were dressed in 20s-era clothes & they were so helpful & friendly. From appetizers to main dishes to drinks were all very delicious. It's pricey but worth it. Now, the musicians. They were so talented & entertaining. We sang along & danced along with them. My coworkers & I had a blast, & we will come back for sure.
