This place is beautiful, with New Orleans vibe! Amazing decor, great music (the band is outstanding). The food is not bad, would rate it 3/5 because you won't go there for the amazing food, you should go there for the ambiance, loud live band & outstanding decor. Great place to celebrate an event.

Une soirée exceptionnelle sur toute la ligne. Nous célébrions l'anniversaire de ma fille & sommes allés à la Maison du Jazz le 20 décembre 2024 au soir. Le décor est à couper le souffle. Art déco, chargé de lustres, d'ornementations & d'éléments décoratifs typiques de cette époque. Nous étions 5 & avons pris cocktails, vin, entrées & repas principal. Chacun de nous a adoré son repas qui était succulent & préparé à la perfection. Les coupes de viande étaient belles & la cuisson à point. & que dire du spectacle! Les artistes sont très généreux & présents. Leur engagement envers la foule était authentique. La chanteuse Venus Mary Grace était si belle, vêtue d'une robe de velours, marabout de plumes, chaussures satinées & gants rouges, elle était comme un rubis entouré de diamants. Elle a été d'une grande gentillesse & générosité envers nous en soulignant l'anniversaire de notre fille de manière inoubliable. Mathilde s'est sentie la reine de la soirée. Bref, c'était une première mais certainement pas une dernière. Nous recommandons cet endroit pour l'ensemble de l'oeuvre & pour vivre une expérience de choix. Service hors pair, & nous avons dansé à souhait! Merci à tous pour cette exceptionnelle soirée. La famille Lavallée-Germain

We were a group of 60, served by only one waitress, which was clearly inadequate. Large group reservations should be better planned in advance. The food was inconsistent-some dishes were good, while others missed the mark. Additionally, there's a service charge for the entertainment, even if you're seated in a room with no access to the stage. While the ambiance & decor make this venue appealing, it's best suited for smaller groups of 2-6 people. Unfortunately, they are not equipped to handle larger events effectively. As a family that frequently hosts corporate gatherings, we were disappointed by this experience, as the potential for a great event space was undermined by poor execution.

We've visited this restaurant a few times & always enjoy the lively atmosphere & charming decor. The setting is perfect for a casual night out, & the live music definitely adds to the vibe. On this visit, however, the singer was a bit of a letdown compared to our previous experiences. We've had great performances in the past, but this one felt like the artist was still a novice, lacking the polish we were used to. The food was decent-not bad, but not outstanding either. One thing that stood out as odd, especially in a bilingual country, was that there were no English menus available. Overall, still a nice place to visit for the atmosphere, but we hope the music & menu options improve on our next visit.

This restaurant is very special in its decor! It had, for me, a New Orleans atmosphere. The Bands a d signers are just very good. As for the service & food, I give it a 5 stars!

The decor was pretty cool & there are different booths & sections with its own themes on the 2nd floor The music was just wayyy too loud I was trying to have a conversation with a friend but we could barely hear each other We had to shout & eventually we gave up & ate in silence just listening to the music The food itself was ok but for the price I was charged for? it was not anywhere near worth it! The service was also slow & they forgot to give me some items that was included with the meal & so I had to wave them back after awhile & by the time I received it I had already finished my meal. You also get charged a cover to enter & dine. This place would be a lot better if they would play some music during a certain time only or do 30min break so you can enjoy the atmosphere of the entire place & enjoy a decent meal with someone Would not recommend currently the way it is set up

Belle ambiance, service impeccable, bonne nourriture, belle décoration, wifi disponible, nombreuses places de stationnement. A améliorer : je pense qu'il faut nettoyer vos luminaires, beaucoup de toiles d'araignées. Le Pina Colada est trop sucré.

It was my first time at House of Jazz, & I loved it. The décor is so amazing with all the chandeliers & lights. The staff were dressed in 20s-era clothes & they were so helpful & friendly. From appetizers to main dishes to drinks were all very delicious. It's pricey but worth it. Now, the musicians. They were so talented & entertaining. We sang along & danced along with them. My coworkers & I had a blast, & we will come back for sure.

Samedi le 9 mars 2024 Bon & bien, j'ai aimé l'ambiance entre Jazz & Blues. Le chanteur de la première partie fait mousse bien la salle avec entrain & sympa & la seconde partie avec Michelle Sweeney wow! à l'orchestre des joueurs de sax, claveriste, bass, guitariste & drummer à couper le souffle, excellet. Le tout dans un décor magnifique avec tous ces lustres. Tant qu'à la nourriture, mes raviolis étaient passablement bons, la joue de boeuf aussi mais le format un peu petit pour les hommes, hamburger au bison bof! le tout manque de générosité & de saveur... ça revient un peu cher des plats principales à partir de 26$ +++ il ne faut pas y aller pour la bouffe qui est moyenne quantité goût prix je dirais un 6 sur 10... mais pour le show ça reste un bon spectacle pas cher 15$

If you are in Laval looking a good time with friends, you can't go wrong with The House of Jazz. Venue: Beautifully decorated place with live entertainment, while eating a a delicious meal. It gives that New Orleans vibe. Service: Waiter was polite, very attentive & took the time to explain each dish in detail. Well done! Took a little long to receive the meals but the entertainment keeps you too busy to notice. Food: Our table had the waygu dumplings, the were very good crispy on the outside & tender inside. For the main course our table had; beef cheek (super yummy), the tuna (very good) & filet mignon (good). Cost: Overall prices were very reasonable. Starter run at about $15-$25. Main course, $25-$50. Keep in mind there is a $10 charge for 2nd floor seating or $15 for 1st floor seating charge per person for the entertainment which is totally worth it, band was awesome! Conclusion: So instead of going to a simple, ordinary restaurant outing... Jazz it up a little! Fully recommend The House of Jazz

If you are in Laval & you want to have a great time with fiends, you can't go wrong with The House of Jazz. Great place to get a good meal & some super entertainment... & the decor is really awesome! Had the the beef cheek, it was tender & moist! The tuna was also very good. Instead of going to a simple restaurant...have some live music the spice up your meal. Gotta go back for Latino music night.

Overall experience was great. Im not one to complain easily but even though there was alot of customers(groups), i wish we had better service. We had to ask more then once for things & waited too long. Server still got a great tip. We will be returning. The decoration , the atmosphere, the bands, the food was very nice.

Décor & ambiance chaleureuse. Pour peu on se croirait dans un club des années 50. Excellent jazz & bouffe succulente. Un gros plus à Valérie qui rend le service cinq étoiles.
