Ayant invité des amis à ce souper-spectacle, nous avons été déçu en plusieurs points de la soirée dont entre autres, la valeur sur-estimée du forfait($450)qui fait en sorte que des charges excessives($65)sur le service, suggérées sur l'addition, créent de graves malaises. D'autant plus que le service de ce soir est tombé très ralenti au moment du repas, n'ayant pas eu pratiquement de visite du serveur pour des demandes de base ou d'appréciation du repas.
Repas de pâtes(tagliatelles aux crevettes) très ordinaire & pâtes sèches, manque de sauce, ne vaut pas le prix.
Aussi, le groupe de supposé Jazz Band, n'était pas la hauteur de nos attentes & manque d'expérience de la chanteuse qui allait d'un type de répertoire à un autre afin de trouver la bonne touche.
Du côté des charges pour le vestiaire, celles-ci devraient être incluses au forfait.

L'ambiance était incroyable avec le décor fantastique & avec le Bob Ricci Band performant juste devant notre table. Tous les employés & serveurs étaient incroyablement accueillant & chaleureux, ainsi que très attentifs à ce que notre soirée se déroule parfaitement. La musique était excellente, de même que la nourriture. Le tout donnant une expérience franchement impressionnante. Nous avons même pu discuter avec les musiciens après le show. Un endroit à recommander & à revisiter!

Very nice ambience on a Sunday night. The band was great, not too loud, & played popular songs. Excellent service from our waitress, but both the kitchen & the bar made mistakes (crème brûlée had salt on top & one of the cognacs was brought in a dirty glass, mixed with some other liqueur). Expect to pay around $150 for two & $300 for four ppl.

Band was amazing but can't say much for the food. They didn't have any chicken left & service was slow & the charge for musician was a surprise but worth it

The music was amazing. The food was very good & tasty
What can I say , good atmosphere, good food nice wine & one of the very best jazz bands I've had the pleasure to listen to.

The food was pretty good, not great but good I had the burger & fries. Loved the NOLA jazz club vibe of the decor. Glad l got there early to hear the pianist she was lovely & enjoyable with a good mix of songs. The band was excellent!!! ...but Michelle Sweeney was a train wreck... vocals were terrible, she does not have the talent to pull off the voice play she was attempting & appeared to be under the influence of something. She kept clapping her hands as if the band was off beat & they were not. As a woman of color I was embarrassed by that horrible natural wig she was wearing as if it were stored under the bed. Would have been better if her band just played & she took a seat in the audience.

Le steak était cuit comme je l'avait demandé. Les « band » était très bon. Bonne bouffe & bonne musique. Une très belle soirée!

The band was a 5* & so was the service, but the food & pricing didn't allow for 5*.

The band & the food deserve 5 stars, but unfortunately the service was really bad. We had to wait at least 20 minutes until somebody came to see us & pour water. The waitress was nice, but it seemed she didn't know what she was doing, for example bringing soup but no spoon, filet mignon without the proper knife, coffee without milk or sugar, the sparkling wine was not served in an ice- bucket & one of the guests had to open the bottle & pour it into the flutes.
As the ambiance was very, very nice we didn't get upset by all these shortcomings, but it is a pity because with a little more attention to detail this would be a fine restaurant. I will not go back to this restaurant, for the next occasion I'll go to the House of Jazz in Montreal, where everything was perfect every time I went.

House of Jazz is always wonderful. Mary Dee's performance along with her band was out of this world. Even after having arrived from Hong Kong, her energy & voice were magical. She & her band were able to connect with their audience with their talent. Also, Mary Dee & the Keyboard Artist came over to speak with us & wish my friend birthday wishes. It was so sweet!

As for the food, I wish there were more vegetarian options. The place would rock even more if the food was stellar. I would have given it a five star for sure.

Our server was nice but did not take care of us properly. She forgot my carrot soup & the bill took a while to come along. She was nice but wish she had checked up on us once or twice.

Still House of Jazz in Laval is a place I will visit because of the performances.

Bonjour j'ai beaucoup aimé la gastronomie & l'ambiance du restaurant. C'est très authentique. Il y a un band live qui performe (très professionnel), leur musique est superbe. Le service & l'accueil aussi était très bien organisé & très cordial. Merci beaucoup!

Bonne bouffe parcontre déçu au niveau des quantités, prendre un cocktail à 12$ pour 3 gorgées à peine.. aussi, difficile d'apercevoir le band sur le stage pendant que nous mangeons car beaucoup trop de lustre qui nous cache la vue au deuxième. Je comprend le principe d'effet vieillot & de bon goût mais nous avons manqués la première partie de spectacle & nous n'étions visiblement pas les seuls à le penser car au moins 3 groupes différents arrivés après nous ont demandé à leur serveuse de changer de place. Soirée tout de même agréable mais nous n'avons pas pu en profiter comme nous le voulions. Nous avons soupé & nous sommes partis très rapidement.
