Bienvenue à la Maison du Jazz Laval, le plus récent joyau de Georges Durst, consacré roi du divertissement au Québec depuis près d’un demi-siècle. Grand collectionneur d’art, il a regroupé des pièces exclusives qui évoquent l’époque glorieuse de certains de ses établissements à succès tels Les Serres du Vieux Montréal, Le Bijou et le Monte Carlo. Depuis 1980, la Maison du Jazz s’est mérité la renommée de ‘Mecque du Jazz’ au Canada puisque les plus grands noms d’ici et d’ailleurs se succèdent sur la scène qui sert aussi de tremplin à la relève.

5 stars for the band, the entertainment, the ambiance! It was amazing! The 4 stars is for the food, it was ok but not so warm! Service was great though, we were served by Genevieve, she was super friendly & helpful!

It was my first time in Montreal, & I loved this place! For the jazz band awesomeness through the night, I had my proposal done here & my beautiful girl said YES! that part made everything for me most meaningful ever & this place will forever be in my heart & my family!
Good staffs as well friendly & bilingual as we didn't speak French but we were taken good care of.
Food: they have good food but only if they could take long, then bring it hot, my food was really cold, same with my girlfriend's. the wings were great, no complain on those. The time taken to bring a food order is also pretty long but definitely the music 🎶 will make you forget the wait time as it's all lite through the long wait & you will keep nodding your head & stamping your feet to the amazing jazz.
Great decorations, you will love it . Good for a date but not a know each other date haha because the music will not allow you so better for a couple that has known each other more.
Generally I will recommend you to check this place out in Montreal. I will be back to Montreal in the summer & am sure to visit the house of jazz again!

Je trouve le restaurent très beau. Les musiciens du band très bon. Très belle ambiance.
Le personnel es très gentil aussi. Sauf que je ne suis pas d'accord avec les frais d' entrée de 30$ ajoutez a la facture sans avis quand ont fait notre réservation. SURPRISE quand viens le moment de payer la facture.

Soirée mémorable !
Tout à été à notre goût pour l'anniversaire de mon amie. La nourriture, l'ambiance, le personnel! Ça va faire une semaine & on en parle encore!
Je tiens à remercier Geneviève au bar pour le service exceptionnel & l'effervescence, les succulents plats préparés par Alex & Dennis, le band live avec la chanteuse Liza Melfi wow !

We were seat right next to the stage. The staff was very pleasant & the good was delicious!! The band sang happy birthday to my boyfriend which made my night❤️ Great memories!!

Went for my birthday dinner & had a great time. The atmosphere is great, the food was on point & the service was courteous.
BUT THE MUSIC WAS OUTSTANDING! I used to go the House of Jazz downtown before they closed & I was hoping that the music line-up would be of the same caliber at this location. JEWELLE MCKENZIE & her band were outstanding. Great song selections, including some Erykah Badu, Aretha Franklin & Lionel Richie, there was something for every taste in music.... jazz, funk, soul. I will definately be returning, especially if Jewelle will perform again! her voice is amazing.

J'ai adoré ma soirée, belle ambiance, les portions sont très généreux, le band, la chanteuse 👍🏾Bon service! Mon seul point négatif est que il fait froid à l'intérieur près de la porte qui donne accès à la terrasse! Je recommande cette place!

Merci à tout le personnel de la Maison du Jazz. Nous avons été merveilleusement bien reçues, de notre arrivée & ce, jusqu'à notre départ. & le Bob Ricci Band est tout simplement GENIAL !!!!!!

Wow, quel belle soirée. Ambiance fantastique,band excellent, service & nourriture, très bien. Seul petit bémol, le prix des alcools & des vins. Pour le reste, 5 étoiles.

Incredibly decorated & the band was amazing. But we must have picked a bad night, we were placed in the back corner & had to watch a show on a screen, & waited over two hours before we got our food. The server did her best to accommodate & gave us lots of free bread & a bottle of water (that you would usually have to pay for) to compensate. She also let us switch seats to get a better view of the show (but by that time the show was ending so we had good seats for one song). It definitely helped save our night, but it was so late when we left we were almost too tired to drive home. Would not go again, but happy we went.

The dining experience was exceptional. My partner & I were pleased with the service, food & the band. The Rhum punch was a bit on the light side & it was disappointing to learn that the Mac n Cheese was not available on the new menu. But, the ribs & burger made up for it. The presentation, temperature & taste was phenomenal. The band increased the degree of pleasantries & we liked that they interacted with the crowd. We would highly recommend this restaurant to others & can't wait to return.

Super belle expérience avec le live band, la nourriture, les boissons était de excellent qualité.
Par contre si nous aurons eu un serveur plus présent & qui venait nous tenir au courant pour les délais de la nourriture (1h+ d'attente) & qui fessait simplement le suivi nous aurons été au ciel de la soirée.

La table était collante, avoir des napperons sous les assiettes, avoir une sauce avec le poulet, avoir de quoi pour se nettoyer les mains quand tu manges des cotes levées. Très belle soirée, bien mangé, une très bel atmosphere, très bon band. Merci

Quelle magnifique soirée en amis; avec une ambiance chaleureuse & très chaude 🥵!! Un service exceptionnel avec le serveur Alexandre ... des bon choix de shooters!!!! La nourriture es vraiment bonne... il reste plu rien dans l'assiette. WoW
