Very disappointed with my experience. Went on the friday night to listen to good jazz music but country was playing & once the jazz band was supposed to come in, they had technical issue that took them 1h to fix... Had hair in my dessert & definitely not worth it to pay 10$/pers to hear no one play. Service was extremely slow, i had to ask for the dessert card, the bill, the machine to pay & etc. Definitely not the kind of service you expect when you spend more than 100$/pers.

Overall we had a nice experience. The band was very good & the food was very reasonably priced & tasty. Service was a little bit slow but we didn't mind it. Everyone looked to be enjoying themselves.

First time going to a restaurant with a live band that eventually turned into a food & dance evening. 😏 Five stars for everything; the atmosphere, the service, the voice of J-C Germain, the rib eye steak cooked to perfection & the dancefloor at the end of the evening. The first of many, I'm sure.

If you are in Laval looking a good time with friends, you can't go wrong with The House of Jazz. Venue: Beautifully decorated place with live entertainment, while eating a a delicious meal. It gives that New Orleans vibe. Service: Waiter was polite, very attentive & took the time to explain each dish in detail. Well done! Took a little long to receive the meals but the entertainment keeps you too busy to notice. Food: Our table had the waygu dumplings, the were very good crispy on the outside & tender inside. For the main course our table had; beef cheek (super yummy), the tuna (very good) & filet mignon (good). Cost: Overall prices were very reasonable. Starter run at about $15-$25. Main course, $25-$50. Keep in mind there is a $10 charge for 2nd floor seating or $15 for 1st floor seating charge per person for the entertainment which is totally worth it, band was awesome! Conclusion: So instead of going to a simple, ordinary restaurant outing... Jazz it up a little! Fully recommend The House of Jazz

Great place for a date night. The food is really good, the atmosphere is nice too & the service is excellent. We had the melting brie, the charcuterie board to share. I had the ribs with mashed potatoes instead of fries. He had the filet mignon with fries. All the food was really good. Our drinks were good too. The live band playing really adds to the whole experience (just letting you know they add a 15$ fee per person for the live band). I've been there a few times & I've always enjoyed my time there. I would recommend it for a romantic date night or even to celebrate your birthday with a small group of friends.

Overall experience was great. Im not one to complain easily but even though there was alot of customers(groups), i wish we had better service. We had to ask more then once for things & waited too long. Server still got a great tip. We will be returning. The decoration , the atmosphere, the bands, the food was very nice.

What the fantastic evening with spectacle at the House of Jazz in Laval. Dano Peace & The Upwright Jazz Band were fantastic!!!! The food was exceptional & the service wonderful. The food was expensive but we are not going every day & the food is worth the price. We spent our 40th wedding anniversary with wonderful people in a wonderful restaurant with great music & very good food. In short, an unforgettable evening. Thanks Elzbieta

J'adore...ne changez rien svp....les décors sont Kitch mais de bon gout, le staff est tres gentil & distingué le filet mignon est délicieux & j'ai jamais été déçus par un de vos bands...rock on les amis!!!!

Quelle belle soirée d'anniversaire! La musique était parfaite (band), & la nourriture excellente, diversifiée. Un peu plus cher qu'ailleurs, mais on a aussi droit à toute une soirée spectacle! Le prix le vaut!

The food & decor were fantastic. Waiters were very attentive.

The music was WAY TOO LOUD. To the point my Apple Watch was even giving me warning of potential permanent hearing loss. We had to yell in each other's ears to converse. Which, in the end, ruined the experience.

The band was mediocre at best. The music was NOT jazz even though the singer was pushing he was doing jazz. His voice was not appropriate for the type of songs they were doing either .

We were very disappointed in the experience & left with a pounding headache.

Merci pour cette belle soirée. Le band de ce soir était en feu :Michelle Sweeney & son band c'était au top. On arrête le temps, on voyage dans le temps. & surtout on profite. Merci & on va y retourne
