Welcome to The House of Jazz (Maison du Jazz) in Laval! Our Montreal location has been a landmark of entertainment, cuisine, and history. Built by French Montrealer Georges Durst, House of Jazz has been a home to Canada’s finest Jazz musicians since 1981. This place is phenomenal in every way possible. The ambiance in general was amazing from the performers, the unique decorations (especially the numerous chandeliers) & the service we received! House of Jazz was exactly what we needed to remind my friends & I how much we enjoyed being in the moment & surrounded by live music. I would also like to highlight that they were very generous by not putting too much ice in our drinks 🥂✨

Une belle soirée entre amis, Charles notre serveur est extrêmement gentil, professionnel & très efficace. Son accueil chaleureux, son service rapide & toujours avec le sourire. Une personne amicale qui fait vraiment la différence. Bravo & merci Charles!!!
I loved everything! Food was delicious. Warm & cozy Ambiance! The band & singer Miss Michelle Sweeney were amazing. Would defintely go back!

Been here a few times. The place has a amazing vibe.
But the only issue they have that you would book a table near the stage! Then a day before your day of booking, they call you & say that there are no available tables near the stage! The only tables available is on the second floor where you can only hear the music but not see the band! They should sort out their customer service specially for returning customers.

J'y suis allée deux fois en 2025. Deux belles expériences, tant au niveau de la nourriture que de l'ambiance avec le spectacle. Aussi, le service a toujours été bon. Le souper du jour de l'an était excellent. Si vous voulez bien manger avec une bonne ambiance & que vous aimez le jazz, c'est la place.

Un très beau resto, super agréable, ambiance jazz feutré, très bonnes chanteuses & très bonne bouffe. Les points faibles...très très lents services , près de 1h45 avant d'avoir notre repas & le filet mignon était presque brûler. Très bruyant comme resto mais compréhensible vu le spectacle.

Pour commencer j'aimerais dire que notre serveuse était très gentille & donc ma note sur le service ne s'adresse pas directement à elle. C'est plutôt pour l'ensemble de l'expérience - Attendre 15-20 min avant que notre serveuse (qui a l'air d'avoir plusieurs sections à couvrir) vienne prendre notre commande d'alcool n'est clairement pas la fin du monde. Par contre il y a le 2h d'attente pour recevoir notre plat principale, les assiettes de partage déposés au milieu de la table en mode'Placez les vous-même', les verres sales, les 3-4 runners qui ne connaissent ni leurs tables, ni leurs pivots, & le délais de 20 minutes entre le premier plat déposé & le dernier donc personne ne mange en même temps. Bref, un vrai bordel.
À un moment, j'aurais pensé qu'un gérant aurait fait le strict minimum & serait venu jeter un oeil sur la section & parler aux clients ne serait-ce que pour les rassurer. Malheureusement non.
Je tiens encore à dire que notre serveuse était super sweet & ce n'est pas de sa faute, je crois juste qu'il y a un manque sévère de structure & de training. J'espère que ce commentaire sera reçu comme une critique constructive & non du'bashing' gratuit.

Remontez le temps avec cette ambiance Jazz. La décoration & l'ambiance vous transportent littéralement dans un univers de paillettes d'antan. Le spectacle est magnifique & varié en sensations. Le service est impressionnant & les serveurs sont de vrais Appelons & Appoline 😁. Je recommande.

Excellente soirée, bon band, belle ambiance!
La bouffe est bonne pour ce type de resto, mais le service laissait un peu à désirer. Nous avons quand même attendu un bon moment pour notre nourriture, par contre c'était parfait pour nous donner le temps d'apprécier le show sans stresser.
Somme toute une super expérience!

Un bon souper avec spectacle de Jazz. Ce n'est pas la place pour une ambiance feutrée. Faut s'attendre à parler fort & chanter avec le band. Je n'ai pas été déçue de la nourriture & le service était très bien.

Nice ambiance but the jazz show we were anticipating was very disappointing. The band did covers of pop songs, not worth $15 imo. Service was slow, food was mediocre & a mandatory $2 coat check on top of it all was laughable.
