Welcome to The House of Jazz (Maison du Jazz) in Laval! Our Montreal location has been a landmark of entertainment, cuisine, and history. Built by French Montrealer Georges Durst, House of Jazz has been a home to Canada’s finest Jazz musicians since 1981. J'ai adoré & nous revienderons c'est sure! Le serveur était très gentil mais il n'est pas revenu nous revoir (on voulais commandez plus) mais sinon c'était 5/5 ! :)

Overall experience was great. Im not one to complain easily but even though there was alot of customers(groups), i wish we had better service. We had to ask more then once for things & waited too long. Server still got a great tip. We will be returning. The decoration , the atmosphere, the bands, the food was very nice.

We were not that please with the music (too much country style). There was long wait for the food once ordered. We also don't like to idea of mandatory gratuity; this should be up to us to decided if & how much to tip.
Aside of the above we enjoyed the time & your venue.

nous avons arrivé. premier contact avec notre serveur se fue 20 minutes après notre arriver. lorsque nous avons demander l'addition. ca prit un autre 30 minutes avant de l'avoir. notre serveuse allais prendre de shooter plus loin avec un autre groupe & allais voir dautre client & nous as dit a 3 reprise. je revien pour votre addition. alors notre service médiocre le reste c'était très bien

Je vais souvent à la maison du Jazz. Je trouve dommage que lorsqu'on est seul on à souvent de mauvaises places. J'étais au bar sans bonne visibilité alors que le début du bar était libre (places soit disant réservées) & que jamais personne ne les a occupés & ce pendant toute la soirée.

What the fantastic evening with spectacle at the House of Jazz in Laval. Dano Peace & The Upwright Jazz Band were fantastic!!!! The food was exceptional & the service wonderful. The food was expensive but we are not going every day & the food is worth the price. We spent our 40th wedding anniversary with wonderful people in a wonderful restaurant with great music & very good food. In short, an unforgettable evening. Thanks Elzbieta
