Welcome to The House of Jazz (Maison du Jazz) in Laval! Our Montreal location has been a landmark of entertainment, cuisine, and history. Built by French Montrealer Georges Durst, House of Jazz has been a home to Canada’s finest Jazz musicians since 1981. Stunning decor with staff who are dressed so that you get the feeling of being back in the flapper era. Food is good. Service staff very efficient as they maneuver around clients who mill about or decide they are going to dance. Because who doesn't want to dance with great music & a lively atmosphere! Nice evening. Definitely a must see if you have never been. ☺️

Le menu & le repas était bien cependant les prix ne sont pas donné. J'avais écrit que je voulais une place spéciale pour un anniversaire de rencontre & rien n'a été partagé. Le groupe musical était vraiment top ce qui sauve ma note. Expérience mitigée mais à faire !

Une première visite un dimanche. Bonne ambiance au bar & encore plus dans la salle. Artiste & ses musiciens étaient excellents.Leur repertoirer est bien maîtrisé. Je prévois revenir à un autre de leurs spectacles. Repas savoureux & plaisant a l oeil. Difficile de résister à l odeur tentatrice de frites déposée sur une table avoisinante. Difficile de ne pas m en commander en supplement de mon repas. Ceci est mon compliment au chef. Frites prévues à ma prochaine visite gourmande & musicale. Employés attentionnés qui montraient leur plaisir à travailler en soirée.

Cuban band-Music just what we needed to bring us to the warmer south weather (without airline hassles or sunburns)
4 Orders * the Lamb - * Salmon tartare - * Pasta dish - * Pork Ribs - all good.
But took a good 50 minutes to get our food served..........either short-staffed in kitchen or good food takes time to make...........
I counted 3 birthday groups so maybe they took up meal-prep time....... regardless another great nite of music & food

Le restaurant est réputé pour donner des spectacles de Jazz. La seule chose qu'on a écouté c'est des chansons qui passent à 92.5 mais jouée par 3 musiciens assez médiocres.
