Welcome to The House of Jazz (Maison du Jazz) in Laval! Our Montreal location has been a landmark of entertainment, cuisine, and history. Built by French Montrealer Georges Durst, House of Jazz has been a home to Canada’s finest Jazz musicians since 1981. On va à la Maison du Jazz pour la musique. Bravo à Mélanie Charrier & ses musiciens qui étaient visiblement heureux d'être là & de jouer ensemble! Leur prestation était remarquable & elle créait une ambiance joyeuse. Quant à l'offre au menu, bien qu'intéressante, la promesse ne se réalise malheureusement pas dans l'assiette & le service est correct, sans plus.

Had a great time! Great food & amazing service. We really enjoyed our time, the atmosphere & music were superb. Only thing is that I asked for a virgin cocktail (I am pregnant) & received one with alcohol. After I told the waitress, the change was quickly made & she apologized greatly. Unfortunately, after leaving the restaurant, I noticed on my bill I got charged for a virgin & a cocktail with alcohol. I didn't think I would have had to check before leaving but I guess I should have! :(

Un endroit hors du temps! Les musiciens que nous avons vus étaient excellents, & le service, impeccable! Malheureusement, la musique était tellement forte qu'il nous était impossible de discuter durant le repas. La nourriture quant à elle était très, très moyenne.

Toute est parfait dans cette établissement, les employés sont sympathiques , souriants & très attentionnés. La place elle même est vivante avec toutes ses décorations & lumières . Le manger est est très bon ! Pour terminer il n'y a pas un seul restaurant que je connais avec une ambiance aussi festive , la musique , les musiciens toutes est parfait ! J'adore cette place je la recommandé autant pour un souper entre amoureux , une fête , une première date où tout simplement pour aller écoute de la bonne musique jazz ou autre . 5 🌟 sans hésiter!

The band was a disappointment. In the past I used to frequent Biddles & later the House of Jazz on Aylmer st. downtown, andthe musicians were excellent, unlike the band at my visit last night. The food was also rather expensive, but I guess this is the situation in this day & age at many other restaurants.

Excellente soirée, belle ambiance avec des musiciens hors du commun! Gabriel & Simon en première partie nous ont tout autant impressionné avec leur talent ! Nourriture délicieuse & portions généreuses, drinks s'a coche & les serveurs super gentils aussi ! Une très belle expérience pour une soirée différente & plaisante. Merci !

Bonjour, Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'endroit bien que certaines places assises ne permettent pas de bien voir le spectacle, ce qui est fort dommage quand tu termines la soirée avec une facture de plus de 250$. Le spectacle fait partie de l'expérience & malheureusement nous avons eu une vue sur une poutre toute la soirée.
Aussi, chose qui peut être possible mais qui rend l'expérience moins agréable, j'ai fait une intoxication alimentaire. À peine 10 minutes après notre arrivée à la maison, j'ai été malade pendant plus de 12 heures.
Bref, je dirais que pour l'expérience musicale c'est une place où je retournerais tout en prenant bien soin de sélectionner nos places.

J'ai celebré mon anniversaire à la Maison du Jazz. Ma famille a très bien été accueillie. La musique était super & la nourriture incroyable. C'est sûr que c'est un peu cher mais ça en vaut la peine.
Merci à toute l'équipe er aux musiciens. Bravo!
