Welcome to The House of Jazz (Maison du Jazz) in Laval! Our Montreal location has been a landmark of entertainment, cuisine, and history. Built by French Montrealer Georges Durst, House of Jazz has been a home to Canada’s finest Jazz musicians since 1981. Samedi le 9 mars 2024 Bon & bien, j'ai aimé l'ambiance entre Jazz & Blues. Le chanteur de la première partie fait mousse bien la salle avec entrain & sympa & la seconde partie avec Michelle Sweeney wow! à l'orchestre des joueurs de sax, claveriste, bass, guitariste & drummer à couper le souffle, excellet. Le tout dans un décor magnifique avec tous ces lustres. Tant qu'à la nourriture, mes raviolis étaient passablement bons, la joue de boeuf aussi mais le format un peu petit pour les hommes, hamburger au bison bof! le tout manque de générosité & de saveur... ça revient un peu cher des plats principales à partir de 26$ +++ il ne faut pas y aller pour la bouffe qui est moyenne quantité goût prix je dirais un 6 sur 10... mais pour le show ça reste un bon spectacle pas cher 15$

If you are in Laval looking a good time with friends, you can't go wrong with The House of Jazz. Venue: Beautifully decorated place with live entertainment, while eating a a delicious meal. It gives that New Orleans vibe. Service: Waiter was polite, very attentive & took the time to explain each dish in detail. Well done! Took a little long to receive the meals but the entertainment keeps you too busy to notice. Food: Our table had the waygu dumplings, the were very good crispy on the outside & tender inside. For the main course our table had; beef cheek (super yummy), the tuna (very good) & filet mignon (good). Cost: Overall prices were very reasonable. Starter run at about $15-$25. Main course, $25-$50. Keep in mind there is a $10 charge for 2nd floor seating or $15 for 1st floor seating charge per person for the entertainment which is totally worth it, band was awesome! Conclusion: So instead of going to a simple, ordinary restaurant outing... Jazz it up a little! Fully recommend The House of Jazz

If you are in Laval & you want to have a great time with fiends, you can't go wrong with The House of Jazz. Great place to get a good meal & some super entertainment... & the decor is really awesome! Had the the beef cheek, it was tender & moist! The tuna was also very good. Instead of going to a simple restaurant...have some live music the spice up your meal. Gotta go back for Latino music night.

We had a blast for NYE. They have a great location here now. Food is ok, but they have some good drinks & the service is always good. They have great artists & you will definitely have a good time. FYI-If you are a jazz snob this is probably not your jam but you already know where to go so don't put a low rating for that.

Everything was to our expectations, especially the food, the service, the ambiance. We would have wished a bit more of classical jazz but given the new year eve event, a more rocky music was expected. Overall very pleased.

It was the best experience of my life at any jazz event. I love to dance & the entire time my older brother kept asking if we could dance, the moment the server invited the crowd up to the front of the stage & dance I ran right up & joined. It was spectacular. I cannot wait to come back many many many times. Thank you house of jazz Laval for making my night & my brothers night phenomenal

Je vais souvent à la maison du Jazz. Je trouve dommage que lorsqu'on est seul on à souvent de mauvaises places. J'étais au bar sans bonne visibilité alors que le début du bar était libre (places soit disant réservées) & que jamais personne ne les a occupés & ce pendant toute la soirée.

What the fantastic evening with spectacle at the House of Jazz in Laval. Dano Peace & The Upwright Jazz Band were fantastic!!!! The food was exceptional & the service wonderful. The food was expensive but we are not going every day & the food is worth the price. We spent our 40th wedding anniversary with wonderful people in a wonderful restaurant with great music & very good food. In short, an unforgettable evening. Thanks Elzbieta

The service was mediocre We had to ask for bread & butter it was served without plates the wait for the food was long even though we were some of the first to arrive
& the worst was that we went there for the Jazz & there was music but no Jazz sorry we were not happy

Décor & ambiance chaleureuse. Pour peu on se croirait dans un club des années 50. Excellent jazz & bouffe succulente. Un gros plus à Valérie qui rend le service cinq étoiles.

I/we have been to the House of Jazz many many times. Alex, one of your servers/manager always greets us with respect, kindness & incredible hospitality. We have sat in several locations from the times we have gone. We do find the second floor at the back where there is bar seating or below the bar seating on the second floor to be most suitable. The restaurant night club & musicians more so Michelle Sweeney are awesome. It is a real pleasure to find such a sweet place to have an enjoyable evening. Thank you

Extrêmement déçus par la qualité de la musique, aucun jazz ou blues. Uniquement du disco joué si rapidement que la voix de la chanteuse est étouffée. Très déçue. Service & ambiance excellents.
