Mixed feelings. The moment you walk in, you are engulfed by the smell of delicious food being prepared. The service is great, & the food is good, but the place is dirty. There are cobwebs everywhere & the bathroom is not clean. It's unfortunate.. It makes you wonder what the kitchen is like, really sad to write this because I used to absolutely love this place.
The owner is super sweet & the food is delicious. I recommend the jjajangmyeon, the bowl is huge for only 20$. I also tried some of my friends' japchae & it was really good. Unfortunately we didn't order any entrees but they seemed delicious & I will definitely try some next time.
Had high hopes for this place given the Google reviews but left feeling disappointed. We love trying Korean restaurants & I've heard this place mentioned quite a few times. The restaurant no longer offers banchan to reduce costs which was pretty surprising. Instead of offering it on request, they charge a few dollars per side dish which was incomprehensible to me. The food was good but the portions were small for the price point. The tteokbokki was pretty good & the pork & tofu stir fry was good but could have used more pork & tofu for the price. My husband wanted tempura instead of the pajeon & we were super disappointed - we ordered the mixed vegetable tempura & it was just a bunch of chopped veggies in pajeon batter served in clumps. It was mostly batter to veggie ratio which was a disappointment. Service was prompt but cold. The bathrooms were dirty & grim. I went in before leaving & watched a girl ahead of me & walk in & immediately out. I was surprised to see things like tempura & general Tao on the menu at a Korean place. Overall, I've tried over a dozen Korean places in the city & this has certainly been my least favourite to date. There are certainly better options near Guy Concordia with more authentic menus - this felt like a tourist spot as I don't understand the ratings here for what we got.
So delicious! I've been here a few years back & loved the food, came back today & was not disappointed. Friendly staff, excellent delicious food & good pricing. They play kpop music videos inside too! The hot stone bibimbap is amazing, I recommend it if u enjoy this dish. Thanks to the restaurant for providing with a delicious comforting meal in the middle of winter! :))
Excellents poulet Général Tao & Duk bok kki. Très bon Bulgogi. Le tout servi très chaud & accompagné de Soju. Service extra. Nous avons adoré notre expérience culinaire.
Amazing bimbibap, the best one I've eaten in Montréal yet, nice environment
The bibimbap & bulgogi plates were so good. The tteokbokki was my favorite, ended up ordering a second plate of it.
I had an amazing dining experience at the Korean restaurant! The food was outstanding, with authentic flavors that truly captured the essence of Korean cuisine. The service was top-notch, & the staff went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. We are group of 6 & came at lunch time, instead of refusing, they even give us more food. Moreover, the cozy ambiance added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a fantastic Korean dining experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We visited for lunch on our trip in Montreal. Delicious & hearty meal! Staffs were super lovely & welcoming. The atmosphere is quite cozy as well. Will definitely be back next time we in Montreal!
I had noodles, they were average. My wife had a stone bowl rice meal she liked it. Overall ok.
Always going back to this spot for the cozy atmosphere & great Korean food!
