Tried Korean food for the first time. Jap chae. Sweet & sour chicken. & two more dishes. Everything was yummy. On the look out for Korean eateries around us already. The service was super helpful kind & humble. Fully recommend.View more

If you're looking for an authentic Korean restaurant in Montreal, this is a great option. It's located right in Chinatown, so it's quite easy to find & accessible by metro. The menu is diverse, featuring traditional Korean dishes like bibimbap & tempura. Prices are reasonable, & the owner & staff are very friendly.View more
The place looks sketchy at first because of the staircase but the inside is cozy & good service. We took a fried rice skewer which was very delicious. The kimchi soup lost some points because of the taste, not spicy enough. We also took a beef japchae which was very flavorful but there wasn't enough beef, only like 6-7 pieces. However, will definitely come back to try other dishes.View more
i ordered the dukmanduguk & it was disappointing to see that there were very few pieces of rice cake(duk) inside the soup. The consistency was not very thick & was lacking flavour all around. However the banchan is ok but there is a fee for kimchi which puzzles me as I have never had to pay for side dishes. My last experience was better however this time was a little sad.View more
I simply enjoy Chez Bong, I prefer Korean dishes to Korean BBQ & they have them all, from bibimbap & pancakes to rice cake even on skewer... amazing presentation, nice tableware. Good service.View more
We never had before Korean food, we decided to give it a shot. The two side dishes were tasty; potatoes & Kimichi (fragmented cabbage)
We order Seafood soup as a main dish & stir fried octopus. Octopus was very rubbery; some pieces were hard to swallow. The seafood was full of tofu. The prices compared to the quality of food was high.
I will still give Korean cuisine another chance but maybe not in Montreal.
