Review Summary

Maison ChaïShaï is seen as a warm, vibrant spot offering a wide range of Indian and Pakistani dishes, from tangy chaat like Dahi Puri and Pani Puri to flavorful curries and signature items such as butter chicken and a playful butter chicken poutine, all paired with a much loved chai and Kashmiri chai. The desserts like Gulab Jamun Cheesecake are a nice finish, and the overall vibe is cozy with colorful decor and friendly, attentive service. Some comments note that portions can be small for the price and that chai quality can vary depending on whether it is made with real milk, while a few visits report occasional slower service; despite that, guests repeatedly praise the authentic flavors, the extensive menu, and the welcoming family run feel. Overall, Maison ChaïShaï emerges as a dependable favorite for flavorful, well made Indian Pakistani food and a standout chai experience.

It is a new place in the city to enjoy Indian tea.
I came to know about this place when owner was interviewed on the CBC radio.
Check it out.

I was visiting the area from Vancouver. The décor is nice. Very warm & low-key that I love. My one suggestion for improvement would be serving chai in actual mugs & not the disposable ones.
Tea always taste better that way & it is far more sustainable & environmentally friendly that having to throw cups out after single use.
I tried the Kashmiri chai & Masala chai. Prefer the masala chai.
