Président d'honneur de l'édition 2007 du Festival Montréal en Lumière, Daniel Boulud a déjà tissé des liens étroits avec Montréal. « Je suis français d'origine et américain d'adoption depuis plus de 3 décennies. Mon approche comme chef et restaurateur combine les deux traditions européennes et nord-américaines. C'est ce mélange de culture qui me fascine à propos de Montréal et qui me fait sentir très proche de ma ville natale de Lyon, a ajouté M. Boulud.

Maison Boulud is hands down my favorite restaurant in Montreal. ⭐ I've been several times, & each visit is consistently exceptional. The food is always delicious; you can truly taste the quality in every single dish. ✨ The service is impeccable, the ambiance is refined yet welcoming, & the attention to detail is outstanding. One of my favorite parts? The madeleines they offer at the end are absolutely divine! 🥰 Every experience here has been memorable. It's by far my top recommendation for anyone looking for elegance, flavor, & top-tier service in Montreal. Thank you, Maison Boulud!
Maison Boulud est de loin mon restaurant préféré à Montréal. ⭐ J'y suis allée à plusieurs reprises & c'est toujours une expérience exceptionnelle. La nourriture est délicieuse, & on sent vraiment la qualité dans chaque plat. ✨ Le service est impeccable, l'ambiance est à la fois raffinée & chaleureuse, & chaque détail est soigné. & que dire des madeleines servies à la fin… un pur bonheur ! 🥰 C'est vraiment mon plus gros coup de coeur à Montréal, autant pour la qualité que pour le goût, le service, l'expérience & la propreté. I feel like this place is overrated. My sisters & my mother also felt this way. None of us was impressed. The plates were pretty but nothing stood out. The food lacked in taste & flavour & I was actually pretty disappointed. Youd expect with such prices & such reputation that we would be happy with our food but unfortunately it missed the spot I will not be returning.Voir plus

We stayed in the hotel so we dined here twice during our stay. Once for breakfast & once for dinner.
Breakfast experience.
The service was impeccable & very friendly. Servers actively spotted for anything you needed before you asked. The first cappuccinos we got were wonderful & velvety. The second were full of grinds & had no foam really. This was a minor issue but for the price, should never have been served. The food at breakfast was a solid 2* on the buffet. While the selection was nice, everything intended to be hot… was cold & dried out. Everything intended to be cold… was room temp. Overall. Not a great experience. For the price they could be refreshing that buffet entirely several times during their breakfast hours.

Dinner experience.
Overall it was a great experience. We went for the tasting menu with wine pairings & while not every dish was to our taste, they were all inspired & interesting. The service was fantastic all around.. everyone we encountered was very pleasant & went out of their way to ensure a great service. The wine pairings were excellent & absolutely on point. No complaints about dinner whatsoever… although of course insanely pricey.
I'd recommend it for dinner & would say to pass on breakfast. There are better options in the area with fresher food at a better price point for breakfast.Voir plus

My husband & I went to maison boulud for our anniversary dinner during our short visit in Montreal. We were glad we did. The food was phenomenal & just very pretty. We ordered the hamachi, some of the daily specials (caviar amuse bouche & the tournedos Rossini), the duck & some dessert. We ordered some drinks as well. Lune de miel was my drink, & it initially tasted very sour like it was out of balance. I didn't want to return it since I never return whatever i order but my husband said it was realllly sour. Our server told us not to drink it if I didn't like it & gave us a new one. Later, the bartender came to us & told us that there was indeed something missing & gave another one to me, & THAT was a great drink. Any restaurant can make a mistake, but how they remedy it really makes a restaurant special. In this case, our experience was great. My dish, the tournedos Rossini, Was a filet mignon with foie gras & truffles, & this was scrumptious. I'd order this again any day. The desserts were both phenomenal too - fresh & light. We came back for more the next day. My husband wished he had my dish. I heard that Montreal doesn't have any Michelin stars, but if they ever come to the city, I don't see why this restaurant wouldn't have at least one. I would love to come back later.Voir plus

Maison Boulud is an absolute gem! From start to finish, every bite was a delight. The Volcano Lava chocolate dessert was simply divine, rich, indulgent, & perfectly executed. The wine pairing was exquisite, enhancing every flavor on the table.
But the real surprise? The burger! As someone who usually avoids carbs, I couldn't resist, & it was absolutely worth it, succulent, flavorful, & perfectly cooked. & let's talk about the octopus salad. WOW! Fresh, tender, & beautifully seasoned.

Dans le passe , depuis 2022 , j'ai été très déçue de l'accueil &, le délit de faciès dont j'ai été victime ... au point de ne plus y revenir depuis 3 ans que je suis de retour a Montreal .
