As a person who had lived in Thai,I can say Pad Kra Pao is my favourite all time of this place💕💕& the papaya salad is exactly the same taste. But rice is sometimes undercooked in khao Man Gai steamed chicken. But overall is great 👍View more
Good place ive had more authentic Thai food the menu is small & its kinda weird to have to order before sitting down kinda like st a school cafeteria but the food is good.View more
Loved the Tom Yum noodle soup. Super authentic & flavorful. Highly recommend!View more
I love this restaurant. Authentic Thai food with fresh ingredients & a nice ambiance. Good value for the price point. Everything I've ever ordered has been excellent. My favourite is the Tom Yum soup - very generous serving & delicious. Service is also excellent - staff are friendly & helpful. You order & pay at the cash first, which I don't mind as then you are not waiting for the bill when you need to get going, which I find happens in a lot of restaurants. Your food is brought to your table very efficiently. There is also a small patio for warmer months.View more
This is my new go-to Thai restaurant in MTL. I can tell it is very authentic Thai food with the almost same taste & quality I could have in Bankok. PRICE IS ALSO REASONABLE, as it should be for real Thai food. I had Tom yum soup as their soups were touted as their specialization. & it was the best Ton yum I've had in MTL. But be aware, there's no luxurious decor or fancy cocktails as some people may prefer.View more
My Thai boyfriend said it is really authentic as it reminded him of his childhood. The spices & flavors were spot on. Everything was delicious & staff were friendly. Definitely recommend this hidden gem! We ordered the Kao Man Kai Tod (Thai Hainan Fried Chicken) & the Kuai Tiao Tom Yum.View more
I'm always very skeptical trying Thai food in North America due to it being inauthentic to the real deal. . I ordered chicken rice & my friend ordered chicken noodle soup & we got two drinks. I've had much experience of Southeast Asian food & as soon as I walked into the restaurant as I smelt the aroma inside the restaurant, it was very nostalgic & it was very authentic. I could tell immediately that the food probably is very close to being as authentic as & good as it can be. The chicken rice was really good & the soup was amazing. My friend's chicken noodle soup was also very authentic. It was very comforting to have food like this in the winter. I really regret not trying that tom yum soup I will try it when I return. The reason why I'm giving four stars . the major downside to this are the drinks are absolutely horrendous & taste horrible. The drinks itself are traditional drinks that you would find in Thailand or Southeast Asia but I don't know what sugar they use because it tastes very very artificial. The artificial sweeteners or whatever they use completely make the drink inedible & disgusting. Me & my friend did not even finish half of the drink & we just left it. We will return to the shop in the future.View more
The Thai iced tea is delicious & authentic! I've been to Thailand & I drank a lot of Thai iced tea there, so I can confidently say that the Thai iced tea here is awesome.View more
Mae Sri Comptoir Thai is an authentic gem near downtown Montreal. The food is simply amazing, capturing the true essence of Thai cuisine. Each dish bursts with authentic flavors, & the pricing is very reasonable. However, during our visit, the air conditioning wasn't working properly, making it uncomfortably hot inside. Despite this, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit. Highly recommend for a genuine Thai dining experience!View more
We loved it here so much. Very tasty meals. I'm not sure if it's authentic but the taste is pretty much as in Asia 👍👍👍 My order was amaaaaazing!!! Thai iced milk tea is definitely a must too!View more
I was really looking forward to the food here but unfortunately I wasn't satisfied with my experience. I started my meal with the vegé fried rolls which were decent but the sweet sauce (honey based) it came with stood out more than the actual rolls. For the mains, I got the vegan pad thai & the vegan pad see ew & both were overly sweet & had no spiciness to them. It just didn't taste authentic to me, it felt more like a North American take on Thai food. I was also surprised by the small portions, & the amount of tofu I got (I counted 6 small pieces in total for the pad see ew). I ended off the meal with two desserts; Mango sticky rice & tapioca pudding. The mangos from the sticky rice dish were bland & the sticky rice itself wasn't fresh, it felt like it was sitting out for long. However I really enjoyed the tapioca pudding, the pandan & the coconut cream were delicious. I think there's room for improvement so I hope for the best. Take careView more
This is a great place for authentic, well cooked Thai food. I loved it Don't get carried away, a noodle soup is a full meal. Really high quality at a great price. Not to be missed I only dropped a star for atmosphere because it was a Monday & thus fairly quiet.View more

What a special spot for authentic Thai style cusine!!! They have a wide-range of snacks, noodle soup, stir-fried noodles/rice, as well as veg options. We are all amazed by the rich flavour of their noodle soup, as well as pad thai. The ingredients are so fresh & unique. This is a definitely come-back-again place for our next teip to Montreal.
