Their charcoal-grilled Portuguese chicken is superb & when they add it to their poutine, a whole new world is born! Great work, guys!!
I don't see what the fuss is about. The chicken is good, but I've tasted better in other Portuguese restaurants. There are lineups to wait & I don't see why. It's basic.
Best portuguese chicken. Good portions, great value. Line moved fast. Had 1/2 chicken, fries & salad. Sorry about the pic, I hate half first. Couldn't wait!
Food was good, but definitely not warranting of the long line out front. I'd recommend it if you're a local, but don't travel to try it. (Although the area is lovely)
Best chicken I’ve tried here in Montreal. Must try. Worth the wait but I came at a good time where the line was just right at the door. Great value too.
Take out... too busy for eating in. Portuguese chicken sandwiches are the best in town
Great meal. Fresh & tasty. Yes, there was a long line. But just like everyone else said, it’s worth it. Even though it was busy we still got a table & ate there.
Best Portuguese chicken in Montreal. & the poutine is better than at la banquise!
So delicious! We went here because I liked how the fries looked on the photos of the other reviews & were not disappointed. We ordered a large poutine with chicken & without chorizo to share. We finished it but could not have eaten more!
The fries were really good (not crispy though), the gravy was so flavourful & the chicken was tender & had a slight roast aroma to it. Loooove! The only thing we were missing was for the cheesecurds to melt.
The price for the size is very very fair!
& the line goes very fast in my opinion. I would say we ordered within 10 minutes with around 12 people in front of us & got our food after another 10 min.
P.S.: we also ordered the chicken sandwich, which is just chicken in a bun & nothing else. It was quite dry, BUT if you dip it in the gravy sauce of your poutine or add some cheese from the poutine, it is delicious!! :)
This is the best Portuguese grilled chicken compared to other Portuguese grilles chicken. When you are in Montreal, you must try this. The salad was also yummy, the grilled chicken was also taste good.
We bought the breast chicken for $16, & they also have thigh chicken, half chicken or whole chicken. I really recommended for people to try it.... Hhmmm... Yummy...
The place is not big, but they have some table for dining in.
