Legendary chicken & the poutine is out of this world. Make sure you purchase extra sauce if you're doing takeout. It's delicious!

Overly rated. Chicken is okay, but not great. They gave you a whole bunch of fries, more than you can eat, but all soft since they packed them into a box. The price is good & the portions are huge, not worthy of the wait though.

We stopped by Ma Poule Mouillée for lunch during a day in Montreal. We ordered the #8 poutine dish & asked for it spicy (large order). Service was fairly quick & seating was available (offseason, after prime lunch hours). The dish was served in a tin container with a covered top so you can take it on the go if you wish. The serving size was more than enough for two people. The temperature of the food was okay. For it being prepared right there, I was expecting the food to be hotter than it was. It was just warm & the cheese wasn't all melted very much. The flavor of the chicken & chorizo in the gravy was great! I wish there had been more of it mixed in to the dish. Overall, it was good, but a few things could have made it much better! Still worth a try if you're in the area.

C'est pas assez cher! On pensait avoir une bien plus petite portion. Autre problème: c'est trop bon. En plus que les prix incluent les "maudites taxes", je dirais que c'est un des meilleurs rapport qualité prix de Montréal.

Abordable & sacrément délicieux!!!!!!!!!!! Comme au portugal. Pour un poulet entier, une énorme barquette de riz, une énorme barquette de patates fondantes à la graisse de poulet (les meilleures que j'aie jamais mangé, honnêtement) & une grosse salade mêlée, nous en avons eu pour une trentaine de dollars, ce qui est plus que correct au vu de la qualité du produit & de la quantité. Je conseille de prendre le poulet grillé tout simple avec ses accompagnements, il vaut la peine d'être dégusté dans sa simplicité. Je recommande vivement!

Great place for portuguese chicken, wish I had room to try their poutine (apparently it's very good). I'll have to come back soon to try it. There'a a door to enter & one to exit, you order near the grill, there'a 3 holes to speak with the staff. They offer desserts & bread (so that you can soak up the juices & sauce). During summer, you can take out & bring it to the big park nearby & have a picnic.

I wouldn't say it was one of the best poutine I had, but definitely, it's not a bad one either. Even though it was not up to my expectations, the chicken was amazing, & gravy was quite different with a smoky flavor.

As close as Mom's roasted chicken . Sauce amazing. Bread to due for. Would be nice , just to have a smile from staff. Don't let that stop you, go for the drive & eat great spicy Portuguese chicken & take home some fresh bread. You'll go back Food Amazing

Amazing Rotisserie Chicken + poutin. Large portions. The nata (egg tarts) were a nice sweet finish. It can get busy inside. Best to take your food to go if you can

J'y suis allée deux fois, mais un peu déçue la deuxième fois de mon poulet. J'avais pris ce que je pensais être du blanc de poulet (poitrine) & je me suis retrouvée avec un énorme os à décortiquer. Mais le prix est correct pour les quantités.

Très bon mes comme c'est vraiment populaire ya un peut d'attente & souvent difficile de trouver un parking mes ça en vaut le coup sans hésitation. Nourriture est excellente . Mon mari portugais se régale a chaque fois. Les prix sont plus que correct & la quantité est au rendez-vous

The poutine at Ma Poule Mouillée is one of the best I have ever had - starting with a perfect poutine as a base & adding Portuguese chicken & chorizo cooked over charcoal...can't go wrong. There is a LOT going on but it is a great balance of everything. At $14 the small is PLENTY of food for one person & an incredible value for the amount of meats they put on. I have also tried a few of their baked goods (natas, flan, croissant) & always been impressed.
