Our go to place for Portuguese chicken, chorizo or pasteis de nata. We've tried many different spots, & this is by far our favourite. Would highly recommend!
La poutine etait salée & n'a plus le meme gout qu'elle avait auparavant (le poulet etait fade). J'ai deja mangé labas plusieurs fois & la poutine etait excellente. Sad de voir que ca a changé depuis.. Je n'y retournerai plus.
Unless you're a vegetarian I don't understand why you could go to la banquise when ma pouille mouillée is right there like it's so much cheaper & better & gooder & yummier & deliciouser & wonderfuller:)))))
Ma Poule Mouillée is an absolute staple in Montreal for Portuguese chicken, & it never disappoints! The portions are generous, the flavors are amazing, & the prices are refreshingly reasonable-thank you for staying somewhat affordable in today's world. The place is quite small, so don't expect much seating. We opted for takeout, & it was perfect. One thing to keep in mind is that street parking can be limited at times, so plan accordingly. If you're craving some delicious Portuguese chicken with great value, Ma Poule Mouillée is definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

C'est dûr d'avoir une place assise, & quand c'est moi qui commande épicé à la place de mon chum, c'est toujours moins épicé que ça devrait, mais ça reste la meilleure poutine à Montréal grâce au poulet & au chorizo.
The moment I came inside to restaurant, the smell of the roasting of the chicken made me salivate. I didn't know what to choose because everything looks good. Someone suggested the #8, the Portuguese poutine. It's was delicious! The chicken with choriço, the cheese curds, & sauce were divine. I have to come back & try the rest.
It was a fantastic place with excellent tasting food. The chicken was cooked perfectly. However, the food gets kind of dry & i wish it was juicier, but overall I would go there again in the future.
Maybe the best chicken in Montreal, definitely the best Portuguese style chicken. Must try the chicken sandwich with salad & fries. Also the poutine is incredible topped with chicken & chorizo. If the weather is nice, take it to go & go eat in the park.
