Malgré l'achalandage & l'attente, la qualité & la quantité sont aux rendez-vous. Aussi, les employés sont sympatiques & polis. Très humain & savoureux. Nous avons essayé la fameuse poutine avec chorizo & poulet. Incroyable! La base de la poutine est très bonne (frite, fromage & sauce). En ajoutant leur savoureux poulet & chorizo, on obtient un mélange gagnant. La grosse poutine suffit pour remplir les gourmads & peut servir de deuxième repas pour les petits mangeurs. Les taxes sont inclus dans le prix & la machine ne demande pas de tips, une rareté de nos jours. À tester!View more

Génial !! Découvert grâce à Phil Rosenthal, dans un épisode sur Montréal, nous avons adoré. Petite échoppe pleine de vie, le restaurant tout en longueur avec d'un côté les cuisiniers & serveurs & de l'autre cette longue, voir très longue file de clients ( voir très très longue) 😁. Les plats sont bons, généreux & tout ça au juste prix !!! La poutine est extra, le poulet aussi & les pastei de nata a tomber !!!View more

The Portuguese poutine is quite large portion. It's with their grilled chicken & sausage. We prefer animal style fries in comparison to poutine. We tried their chicken & Grillé sandwich as well. The food was too salty for us. The croissant was good.View more

This was some of the best chicken I've ever had! The sauce was packed with flavor, the meat was tender & the fries were the perfect compliment. My friend got the poutine & that is a must-try (just be prepared to take a nap after). The portions are HUGE, we could have easily shared an item - we ended up with a lot of leftovers which isn't always a bad thing.View more

Simply the best. I make it my mission to come here as much as I can when I visit Montreal. I got the small poutine & got two meals out of it. Pretty good for $14. I came at 1pm on a Sunday & was lucky to have no line. You order & then walk to the check out to pay. Restaurant can get quite warm due to the open kitchen. The food is too good. Only come if you are ready to enjoy yourself greatly.View more

Super generous portion of poutine, think it can be shared among two, maybe even three people if you're not starving & just want a snack. Chicken was very tender & tasty! We ordered ahead on the phone so didn't need to wait on the line outside. There's a separate one for that inside but it's not 100% clear so we ended up confirming with the kind cashier inside upon arrival in case anyone wants to go that route. Not sure if this always happens when you order ahead but by the time we got there (like 20 min later) we still had to wait a little as they didn't make it yet, understandably since they seemed to be extremely busy, but the benefit is that the dish was fresh!View more

The Portuguese chicken poutine is ridiculous. The small/petite is enough to split between 2 people. There is a long line but it moves quickly. The staff are nice. The interior is loud.View more

Only ordered the poutine with the whole fixings, their grilled chicken & sausage. It was definitely better than some other poutines I've had, so there's that. I really liked how the sausage has a bit of spice to it. I think poutine needs spice. Delicious! The small is $14, & is MORE than enough for two people.View more

Saw this spot from a Montreal local on YouTube & he was right, one of the most unorthodox but quality poutine you will ever have. I ordered a small Portuguese poutine & thank god I did because I barely finished the small. Really good bang for your buck & the Portuguese twist is a good thing to add to your Montreal list of spots to eat before you leave!View more

The poutine was ridiculously big & pretty good. It really all depends on whether you like their sauce, because it was on everything we ordered. You get lots of food & it is pretty good, but there is a line out the door & way too few seats for everyone. & it's very hot inside because they are grilling up the chicken right there & the AC can't keep up with that & all the people. My baby had to sit in my lap because there wasn't a highchair for her, or even a regular chair. I'd recommend taking this to go & ordering less than you think because the portions are huge. Ultimately I was just too hot & cramped to enjoy myselfView more

Get the small! The sizing & portions of food given is HUGE. I got #11 Chorizo & chicken salad -- I really enjoyed the amount of onions given & loads of meat with it. It was a great surprise. My friends got the chorizo & chicken poutine... watching them eat made me full. The dessert was good if you're looking for a sweet treat! Overall great money value for the portions!View more

The line was 30 minutes in the afternoon of a Sunday. I expected more for the reviews of the chicken however the sauce was the star of the show of the poutine. The fries kept crispy for a long time. The tables do not get wiped for a while due to how busy they are so I would take the food & eat elsewhere. Would also order the egg tarts!View more

The poutine here was so, so good. The chicken & chorizo were elite, the cheese curds squeaky, & the fries didn't get soggy with the gravy until over 20 min after. I'd have to come back to get just the chicken too. The egg tarts were really good, comparable to what I've had in Portugal.View more

Great portion size & good service. The food was all very flavourful. We ordered the chicken poutine, chicken was so tender & seasoned. The fries were good & good amount of cheese curds. Poutine also had sausage (Chorizo) bits in the plate which didn't have much flavour, borderline dry. It is a nice addition but it does not add much to the dish. We ordered a half chicken meal which came with salad & fries. The chicken was fall off the bone. We could not finish the meal as it was just so much food. Nothing special with the salad, chicken is the star here.View more

Absolutely loved this place. I know a lot of people say that the actual place to go is La Banquise which is across the street from there but after watching many YouTube videos a lot of people had said that this was the more local attracted establishment for poutine. We got the poutine with roasted chicken & smoked sausage. The fries were crispy, the gravy was smooth & tasty, & the cheese curds were on point. The entirety of the flavor of this dish was amazing, & I literally can't wait to get back there the next time I'm in Montreal. Very friendly & helpful staff. I will tell you don't make the mistake that I did, & which I watched a few other people do is don't try to pull the door open, push it open, LOL.View more

Cela fait 5 ans je viens de temps en temps pour un petit plaisir avec du poulet, une poutine & des pasteis de natas. Mais avec le temps je trouve que la qualité se degrade... ce soir les frites étaient très sèches & le chorizo froid. Je redonnerai certainement une chance mais de si tôt car j'ai même été un peu malade ce soir. Peut etre qu'ils pourraient augmenter un peu les prix pour maintenir la qualité.View more
