What an incredible experience! We came all the way from New York, & I can honestly say there isn't a place like Lylac Restaurant even in New York. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome, exceptional hospitality, & outstanding service. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, & made us feel like VIP guests.
The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, & full of authentic Mediterranean & Middle Eastern flavors. The quality of the ingredients & the attention to detail were evident in every bite.
The live entertainment was spectacular & created an exciting, elegant atmosphere. The music was fantastic, the energy in the room was contagious, & everyone was enjoying themselves. The crowd was classy, lively, & respectful, making the entire evening even more enjoyable.
Lylac offers the complete package: amazing food, impeccable service, beautiful ambiance, outstanding entertainment, & an unforgettable experience. We travel frequently & dine at many excellent restaurants, but this was truly one of the most memorable nights we've had.
If you're anywhere near Montreal or Laval, Lylac Restaurant is absolutely worth the visit. We came from New York, & we would gladly make the trip again just to experience this restaurant. Highly recommended!
First off, Lylac restaurant is absolutely beautiful! I love the decor & cleanliness! 💜, the service is great! They are very friendly & professional 😊! I love the atmosphere & the Arabic music, it gives a good vibe 🔥! The food is well presented, authentic, unique & delicious ! 🤤 The prices are worth it ! I recommend the Halloumi fried cheese rolls & the shawarma platters as well as the meats on the grill! I would eat here again in a blink of an eye! I give Lylac & strong 4 out of 5 🥰!

Honestly, this is our go-to restaurant next time we visit in Montreal. We drove all the way from Ottawa, & I have to say, Lylac is a restaurant my family & I will go back to. To start, the service was unbelievable. They were checking our table every 5 minutes to see if we needed anything. Not only one person, but we had a rotation of different servers checking the table & bringing us this hot, amazing fresh bread. The food was absolutely amazing; the portions were great, & the taste was unbelievable. For entertainment, there was also lots of fun, especially the DJ between the singers. It was a great combination. If I have to say what was the best, it was the service with their beautiful, genuine smiles. The way they served was off the charts. I strongly recommend this place if you're looking for one place that has it all; you definitely cannot go wrong.

Very good ambience, good food, tasty, I'm a hummus freak, it's delicious. Owner is accommodating & very welcoming, fast service, the staff is nice. Saturdays there is love music, a nice touch. So the place is beautiful. Food is yummy One of the few classy halal restaurants in town. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is recently I went there for the iftaar buffet & I was confused why they didn't have any kebabs... or any meat skewers. One would expect that from a Lebanese/ Syrian restaurant. You pay 55$ & get a bunch of different sauces like hummus garlic sauce etc... a bunch of salades & some other random dishes.. everything is yummy, don't get me wrong... but for $55 I was expecting some more meat... Second point, I was surprised to see that they had a gentleman playing music at the time of iftaar... normally people make a prayer or at least close the music at time of iftaar... the majority of people were Muslim & came to open their fast.. why do u have someone playing music? I understand the business side of things, but for the month of Ramadan, at iftaar time it is wrong to have someone playing music..
