Found this place on a whim after skating around the corner. It was exactly what we were looking for. Generous portions that included a salad bar, great atmosphere (it's cozy, but we really like that). All of our dishes were delicious. I recommend the pesto pasta with the lamb chops.The server was friendly, knowledgeable, & made us feel welcome. Definitely recommend this spot as an easy/casual hit up while in the city.View more

I had to come here again! We came here for the second time this fall as we tried it a couple years ago, when we last visited Montreal. I couldn't get enough of "Le Grand Prix" - a pesto pasta with a rack of lamb! So good that my husband also ordered it this time too. It is now a tradition & we will visit this restaurant every time we go to Montreal.View more

Unfortunately my experience with the restaurant wasn't good.
I went there to celebrate my birthday with my wife after looking for an Italian restaurant.
When we ordered our plates, my wife asked the waitress if they had anything special for me since it was my birthday. Her exact words were: "You can choose a dessert". What we expected was that it would be a free dessert. But, for my surprise it wasn't.
After I asked her if the bill was correct, since it was charging for the dessert, she confirmed & handed me the machine to pay & stood stand looking how much tip I would give her. Very rude.
The plates presentation were very attractive but the taste didn't have anything special.View more
