If you come here know that the food comes around an hour after you order. Nobody came to give us a heads up of the time. I had to ask during that hour for a coffee refill & water after around 35 minutes so at least we had to drink. Orange juice & coffee were good. The customer service was good after I asked for drinks.
The crepes were real good. They lacked maple syrup so we just asked for some more.
I ordered the JJ & it was flavoursome, the potatoes were nice. The only thing are the eggs were way too salty. A mouthful full of salt. Literally. I just asked for other ones & the service was fast.
I will return & update but don't go there if you're on a tight schedule we were at the restaurant for 1h45 to 2 hours. Price were very reasonable.
As a native New Yorker, I have absurdly high standard when it comes to eating out...
& NDG Luncheonette exceeds all expectations... The staff are warm & attractive, the menu is unique, fresh & delicious, & the ambience is authentically hip.
If they had a place in NYC, this would be my favorite lunch spot!

Je recommande certainement une place au'bar'. C'est très agréable pour avoir une vue VIP sur la préparation des repas & avoir de belles discussions avec les employé.es.
J'ai pris le'gruau' sans gruau 😅. Mais quelle belle adaptation de leur part, j'en suis très reconnaissante.
La personne qui m'accompagnait a pris l'assiette déjeuné oeuf, bacon, saucisse & m'a garanti que c'était un délice!

Simple food well executed with quality local ingredients. Very happy to have them in the neighborhood!. We got the fried chicken sandwich & the bacon tomato sandwich, both were tasty.
Service is friendly & efficient, 💯 recommended. Prices are also surprisingly reasonable & include taxes. Cash only.

Best breakfast/brunch place in Montreal. Perfectly seasoned food, friendly staff & a relaxed atmosphere. I've been here more & more frequently & these guys never miss. First time there..I had the NDG burger....YUM !!! Perfectly cooked, with chips & coleslaw. All fresh. 3 or 4 booths, & great swivel chairs to dine at the counter. Cozy, friendly, with memories of past diners & lucheonettes of my youth. I'll be back to try more in the menu for sure !!!
