Great dining experience at Lucille's. I was a single walk in, requested sitting at the bar, & had incredible service by Sam! Ordered 1$ oysters, & followed that with premium oysters. Both were very good (premium are larger). For dinner I had the octopus, which was the best octopus I have ever eaten. Perfectly cooked. Great service, great quality, great food, great ambiance. 10/10.
The oysters are a highlight, do the $1, they're good. The crab dip was delicious. The ambiance is good, service is excellent, servers are so willing to make accommodations & changes, & check in on you sufficiently. The rack of ribs was horrible, overcooked, dry, almost not palatable. It was surprising as rest of the experience was fine, not sure if it was just this day or it is commonly a badly made dish here.
Nice spot in Tremblant! We chose to eat here as they had the $1 oyster deal. The oysters were good, but on the smaller size, a nice presentation. We also had the crab dip, very yummy, but the chips they served with it were a bit stale, the calamari, also good but a bit on the smaller size of a portion, & the half rack of ribs, which were very good.
For drinks I had a classic martini, which wasn't chilled enough when I received it, it was kinda warm… I also realized there were 2 chips in the glass as I was drinking it, as well as my boyfriends glass. I pointed it out to the waitress & she said they would throw them out. I was also able to order a classic martini but asking that's not the premium on the menu, but it got a bit confusing, she automatically was saying there's Kettle One & I asked for the bar rail, & she didn't understand so I asked if there was a cheaper option & then the waitress said they had Smirnoff. Even the Kettle One is not the one on their main menu as I believe it comes with an oyster. (Good to know)
We also had the oyster Clamato shot which was fun.
The terrace is nice outside as you can enjoy the fresh air, not necessarily a view of the mountain but the village area is very cute.
If you want to have some oysters & seafood it's a nice spot, but nothing outstanding. It's a bit pricey, but I would recommend it.
Ambience: very nice layout & decoration inside. Modern & cozy. Bathrooms are very clean.
Food: we had the large tomahawk steak to share, seafood pasta, oysters x36 ($1 each), fried calamari, & ended the meal with keylime pie, mousse dome, & tiramisu. Steak was to our order, fries were extra crispy per our request. All of the food were excellently prepared.
Service: we went before the prime dinner hour, so we were seated very early. The food preparation time was good, considering ordered such a large cut of steak. The restaurant was packed in the middle of our meal, but service was still great.
Overall: Just generally speaking, food in Quebec is better than Ontario, yet less expensive as well. So its always 1 or 2 stars higher on that alone. I would probably give this place 6 stars for that reason, all things considered.
Amazing restaurant! We spent a weekend in Tremblant with my family (we were 12 people) & wanted to find a restaurant for dinner that could accommodate all of us. My partner & I went for lunch at Lucille's to try it out before committing to a group dinner & we were blown away! The dishes are so good! We immediately reserved for that night & even went back the next day - basically Lucille's fed us for 90% of our trip in Tremblant, which I can't complain about as it was so tasty. Service was amazing: huge thank you to Gisele, our waitress. She was serving us when we went with my family of 12 (picky aunts, parents with special requests, basically not the easiest table) & service was perfect, always with a smile & everything arrived with timeliness. We were so impressed with her & with the food yet again that we returned the next day & were happy to see she was our waitress again. Amazing service! If you can sit in Gisele's section when you visit, it will make your experience great. I really value good service & I find it can make or break a dining experience, so I am really glad Gisele was there to make everything 11/10. I also have to highlight her great focus because there were 3 large bachelor/bachelorette parties around us & a world cup match with a large crowd around, & none of this distracted her or impeded providing amazing service. Gisele is a gem!!
Food wise, you MUST try the key lime pie. It's the best thing I've had in my life. The seafood linguini is amazing as well. We also tried the tomahawk & the steak-frites which also were great. 1$ oysters are always a nice starter but if you want something different, the tuna rolls & asian style salmon tartare also made it to our favs. Thank you Lucille's & thank you Gisele! We will definitely be back!
Placed at the bar & basically forgot about us. Service was bad. Food was decent.
First of all ordered drinks & they didnt come back with them for a while. Oysters came out fast but the rest of the food apps & mains didnt come out for over another half an hour.
The real problem is the way the server scammed us by offering an extra plate as courtesy saying'we can see what we can do about the price' & then proceeded to charge us full price for an extra main we didnt originally order.
In the end i asked for a box to take out the extra fries but he took the fries & threw them into a crushed box & tossed out the sauce that i wanted for the fries?
Pretty bad experience overall but food was not bad once again. Would prefer if they didn't try to act apologetic for the wait if you aren't going to keep your word.
The meal here was really good. We had just arrived in town & had a room at the hotel across the street. We ate outside & the atmosphere was great. The $1 oysters were super small, but they were good. The beef tartare was very good & the steaks were excellent. Overall, we were very pleased with our dining experience.
We stopped in for a few drinks & their $1 oysters before heading elsewhere for dinner, & it was a great start to the evening. The oysters were on the smaller side (which is why they're $1), but they were fresh & tasted great. I actually prefer smaller oysters, so they were perfect for me & an excellent value.
Our server mentioned that the oysters were particularly good that night, so I can't speak to the consistency from visit to visit, but based on this experience I would definitely go back & order them again. They also offered premium oysters at a reasonable price for anyone looking for a more standard size.
Overall, great value & a spot I'd happily return to.
Clearly the best meal we had during our 2day stay in the village!
Ordered a plate of 6 oysters. Yum!
For the mains, we ordered Fish tacos as starters, Oven chicken & roasted eggplant. We never order veg dishes at restaurants but the eggplant served with a cream sauce & cucumber blew us away!
For the drinks, we had lemon mojito & watermelon margarita. Lovely dinner! The only downside was the service which could have been a little better with our server suggesting us options to suit our 4year old (they didn't actively participate in the conversation) but I'll blame it on the evening rush.
We were here on a Monday in mid March. It was a rainy night & again it was a Monday. It was my son's birthday & we were 7 people. The service was basically terrible. We were sat outside because the size of our party & the terrace is heated but the tables on the stone patio wobble alot, not a little so watch your wine. We ordered starters, mains, drinks, oysters after waiting a notable amount of time for someone to finally come to our table. Then after we finally got our starters & oysters, between our starters & mains, we waited about 20+ minutes. All the drinks came except one beer. She asked at least 5x & she had basically finished her main before it came & they didnt even offer to comp it. Then hubby made the mistake of ordering more oysters which they just forgot about. They just never came. We didnt point it out because we just wanted to see if they would even notice & then when our server came by the time most of us had finished our mains, asked if anything was missing, I said oysters. I said cancel them. Then after all our mains were cleared, the oysters showed up. They did not comp them. It was a Monday, it bears repeating. Also, we are in Quebec here & I had sworn they had passed a law that the PoS could not put a minimum tip on the screen of over 15%... The tip suggestions started at 18%. Isnt that illegal? That is of course on top of the Mt. Tremblant tax. & the way as you calculate it, you are tipping on tax & tourist charge. Brutal. The food was very good. Shame about the service.
