My steak was extremely tough & took much too long to get drinks & appetizers.
The entree's were decent but the squid was really hard. The steak & shrimp were really hard too. I think, because it took so long to get our main meal, they sat in a warmer but just dried out. I think we got forgotten because we sat for quite a long time with our empty plates in front of us as tables with more clients got better service. Disappointed for the price we paid.
Calamari did not taste home made. Both our steaks were stringy & not edible.
Magnifique soirée. Huitres, steak, frites. Tout était délicieux.
First time going & I was not disappointed! I ordered the Ny steak & prawns with the mashed potatoes. The steak was tender, juicy & nice. The shrimps were seasoned to perfection & the cheese mashed potatoes was super yummy. I would definitely go back!!Voir plus
Ich finde 4 Sterne sind zu wenig, weil das Essen ist wirklich gut, empfehle das Steak Kansas cut wirklich gut.
Das was mich ein bisschen stört ist ein bisschen die Lautstärke.Voir plus
Saturday for dinner.
The steak was great, done perfectly as ordered. A decent Pinot noir to go with that cut. Very good service. Except of course, I could barely hear the waiter or the server. My dinner companion & I could hardly hear each other across the table.
I really liked the look of the place, the long bars, decor. But the acoustics in that place are terrible. Like a high-end Manior.
The din was, well, deafening.
Seriously. & then the DJ (or whatever) kicked in - are you friggin kidding me?! Totally unnecessary background noise - a waste of good music. I heard some Motown, sort of heard it, it was all just more noise after that. Please decide if you want to be a good restaurant or a downtown nightclub/dance bar. If I ever come back it might be just for a burger & a beer at the bar - at lunchtime.Voir plus
Very disappointing. 4 steaks all were tough. You were Out of fish & chips. Only positive was our waiter.
Tous les plats étaient très bons. Excellent service. Seul bémol les crevettes & le steak étaient un peu froids.
I asked for well-done steak but got bloody steak. Did not eat. It's a shame because the quality of the steak was there. Chef should follow customer's request even if it's not suggested to cook steak well-done. Paid $300 & left hungry.
We went last friday. Service was one of the best I have had in a while. Drinks were decent, the rib steak was good, the premium Oysters were really good. The Pecan pie was meh (like it cooked too fast at a high temp, but not long enough so top & bottom was burnt but the middle was doughy. The price was expensive (but we were full & happy)Voir plus
Theo our server was very good
My Kansas steak was ordered mid rare closer to rare however the first I received was closer to mid well, the replacement was better but still missed the mark, my wife's lobster rolls had already been sitting for a while so I decided to accept it, it was delicious however work needs to be done to meet the cook request.
Nick the manager came over & apologized, perhaps an offer of an appetizer or dessert on the house could have been offered?
Overall we enjoyed our experience & will return.
Outstanding service. This restaurant had a very positive vibe. The wagyu steaks were awesome. Perfect for a Friday night dinner with friends. Merci Lucille's !
Did not like where we were seated.
I thought it was much too loud. Seated to close to other people.
Seated close to bathroom.
Prefer the Keg's atmosphere.
The food was good but should include at last two sides.
At Gibbys steak house the price is the same but they includes much more.
At Lucille's you have to pay for vegetables & even bread.
My son & I go to every steakhouse & we compare.
Gibbys so far is the best.
We will be trying 40 West next.
The food was mediocre. Steak was decent, sea bass was extremely dry. Shrimps were not worth 5$ each they were not that big. Service was lacking speed & attentiveness. Probably would not return. Also no decaf coffee & no steak sauce? Weird.
First time ever I had been this disappointed. First of all, we ordered the $140 Porterhouse for 2. Medium rare. It came almost well done. Now, I know it is hard to cook such a big piece of meat, but it's aggravating spending $140 + tax & tip & 20% of the steak is burnt (zero zero pink inside even). & even the middle pieces weren't medium rare. I wouldn't have been annoyed if the inside the Medium rare & the outside was Medium or even Medium well, but that wasn't the case. Second, I changed my fries for the mashed, & was charged $7 extra. Wait what? I paid $140 for a steak, & I can't even pick my 2 sides?! Seriously? We went for the salad & mashed as sides, & was charged $7 to change the fries to mashed, that's robbery. Third, the service was awful. We sat in the back of the main room, & it seemed like our waitress only has our table in that area. So because of that, she was never around. It took forever to order. But what really got me going, was getting our bills. 20 minutes after the plates were cleared, she was no where to be found. I finally has to ask a busboy to get our bills. Finally, she comes with the bills, & then disappears again for another 20 minutes. So I had to ask AGAIN for the machine. & then she comes running. She obviously was working another section & our table was an outlier. Lastly, the first jug of water we got tasted moldy honestly. We had to ask for a new one. Just overall a poor experience, & shocking one as well.
Oysters & steak were A+
The fish & chips were overbattered
Staff were amazing
Amazing food, good ambiance, good service!
Crab dip is a must, steaks were perfect, i would of loved a bigger lobster tail but it was succulent. Chocolat mousse is right up there.
Definitely coming back!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre repas (huîtres, salade, steak & guédilles homard) par contre pour le dessert beaucoup trop dispendieux rapport qualité prix.
We thoroughly enjoyed having lunch at Lucille's Fairview. The steak was delicious as well as the lobster rolls. Service was friendly & efficient. Ambiance was great!
Service was excellent
Had fish & chips & batter was much too thick
Steak was not tender for a AAA
We have been several times & always enjoy both the food & the service. One thing I will remark is that in each of our last two visits, one of my dining companions tried to order a steak & tried one vut, then two others & neither was available. In this case the restaurant/waitress should have been able to offer the remaining cut (the most $$$) at a reduced rate equal in cost to one of the 3 not available. Most recently ( last night Feb. 14) the same thing happened & the cut suggested, according to my husband, was tough & with spice that was not really what he wanted. Perhaps the restaurant should be better stocked for popular items.
Wonderful dinner at Lucille's. Great food , friendly service & ambiance was very good as well! We were a party of 5 & everyone received their meal at the same time & no one was disappointed! Everything was delicious from the crab dip & crackers entree, fish, steak, burgers & the cheesecake for dessert! Nothing disappointed! Definitely recommend.
We were seated near the kitchen & could regularly smell the cleaning fluids being used on the floor throughout our meal. We should have asked to be moved but I must say I'm surprised there is even seating there given its proximity to the kitchen given the lights, smells & noise.
Steak tartare & tuna steak (albeit very small) were very good.
I've been going to Lucille's since the original location on Monkland. We were quite underwhelmed at the Fairview location. It's starting to look like a soulless corporate franchise & the food was just Ok. I guess people on the West Island value the vibe more than the quality as it was quite busy.
It wasn't bad, just plain. & Overpriced. under seasoned steak, over seasoned fish (sea bass) , flavourless beef tartare, weird chicken dish, etc. the server was a young girl. She meant well but service was a 2/5. But I guess she looked the part.
It's become more theatre than experience. Too bad, it was a stand out restaurant.
Manquait du jus de tomates donc pas de bloody mary...& pour la première fois la pieuvre n'était pas aussi tendre que d'habitude - la salade wedge très bonne- mon mari steak tb & nos amis saumon bon & fish & ships tb -
