Only issue I had is I ordered a Caesar salad & it had slices of pickles in it… I removed them & the salad was great.. chicken wings, steak & calamari were awesome. Your staff is unreal.. all were serving & taking care of customers waiting to get in or at the table. Your staff ROCKS!
I am ABSOLUTELY appalled at the'woodfire oven chicken'. DO NOT ORDER IT.
We got 6 pieces of chicken NUGGETS for 32 mfin dollars.
I sat here in absolute horror knowing I could have bought 3 bags of this garbage at Walmart, & it comes with 3 dry tortillas & a tablespoon of guac. Not the servers fault, blame whoever'invented' this catastrophe... & here I thought $8 tap water at Medusa was an insult
The cheesy mash has a thick film you can't cut through but under was miam. They replaced it with two subpar cheeseburgers, at triple the price JBC from Wendy's.
Honorable mention: the'house salad' is all aragula & pretty sure drenched in soy sauce. BRUH....
One of my favs (via 2018-westmount rip), until now. Lol
Tourists & first dates & anyone new here is not gonna say anything. Thankfully for you, I'm local & pissed off.
The salmon tartare is super good though. 👍🏼
Don't invite me back. There's enough restos to please my woodfire chicken craving.
Don't blame the server, blame the game.
We had the salmon & a salad -- it was excellent. We also had a drink with dinner as well as shared a dessert for two. At a price of about $40 per person including the tax & tip; we felt it was a bargain for quality of meal & service.
Dean, the manager, made sure everything was just right.
I would suggest if you would like a little privacy at your table, you make that request with your reservation. Tables are a little close, but still enjoyable.
Great for business lunch meeting. Food is delicious, staff is professional & atmosphere is quiet enough for a good conversation.
We both had the half-octopus on salads & the cauliflower entree. We loved it !
Great as always in this location. Sea bass tartare, burrata, Octopus over mediterannean salad...all wonderful. Highly recommend.
I had a reservation for 5 adults & 2 kids. We were greeted & seated quickly. My family & I have been to various Lucille locations, & last night was our first time in downtown location. Food serving was a little slow while we asked them to serve whatever is ready first because we all share the dishes. But good thing is that they served our drinks & the kids food rather quickly. Food was good & service was polite & respectful. I really love their cauliflower salad & burrata. Decor is nice but I would say we felt a little hot inside… not sure if the AC was working properly. All in all, we had a good time & love the location for a downtown hangout night.
J'ai adoré le homard, les huîtres & le crabe des neiges. La salade César est dans contrat une des meilleures que j'ai mangé. & la serveuse était parfaite! Merci!!
I came again...:-)
I tried the 🦞 with a promotion price of 29$ as well as famous polpo Greek salad, & lemon tarte... food was delicious & service was good.
I wanted to share some feedback about my lunch experience today at Lucille's on Avenue des Canadiens.
First, I should mention that I've eaten at Lucille's several times - at the West Island, Laval, & Monkland locations - & have always enjoyed my meals. Unfortunately, today's experience was less than satisfying.
We tried ordering a salad without oils, but were told the kitchen couldn't accommodate the request. This was surprising for a kitchen that prepares food from scratch. Then, when a second choice was made to accommodate a gluten requirement, the kitchen again said they were unable to adjust, which was disappointing.
Finally, we ordered the sweet potato fries, & when we asked for a second serving of the spicy dipping sauce, we were given regular mayo instead - again, a letdown.
Look, I'm not going to get into pricing - I understand what comes with the mid-range dining experience. But if you're positioning yourself as a quality food & service establishment, consistency is key.
I thought Lucille's management team would appreciate the feedback.
By the way, although I was disappointed, it doesn't mean I won't come back - but I do hope the experience improves.
We went on a busy event night so the restaurant was packed! We booked a reservation online & we sat immediately when we arrived which was great! Service was slow but they were busy so it was to be expected. Food came very quickly after ordering which was a surprised, so they must have been ready for the rush! Food was fantastic! I had the half an octopus & Greek salad. I would come back for sure!
After days of eating our way through Montreal, we decided to go eat by Centre Bell to watch the Habs game & I am SO glad we did.
This was the best service of the trip. From the time we ordered our meals (four of us got a few bottles of red & the seafood linguine, tuna, ribs, & octopus on Greek salad) it was fast. Almost weirdly fast! My Octopus on Greek salad was top 5 best meals I have ever had. Do not debate getting it. Get it! I will be dreaming about this dish until I return again from Vancouver. It was perfectly seasoned, tender, & the sauce…the sauce! I could drink the sauce. I adore how the feta came out sliced as well, instead of traditionally crumbled. So flipping good.
Management - please acknowledge Ryan for his outstanding service. Timely, friendly, funny, knowledgeable. Best service I have had in a long time. He was made to be in the people industry & you can tell that he cares about his job.
I'm glad they opened up a Lucille's closer to home. Quality of the food was excellent, service was great as well. I highly recommend the tuna tartare with avocado & melon, as well as the lobster roll. The octopus salad was another stand out.
