Visiting Marché Atwater is a delightful experience. I spent time exploring the incredible selection of food, from artisanal cheeses to fresh fish & nuts, & couldn't resist picking up a few items. The variety & quality of products were truly impressive. After shopping, I enjoyed a slice of pizza & some coffee, taking in the lively yet cozy atmosphere. The market's location near the canal is a bonus - I walked along the scenic path & noticed many people biking with Bixi rentals or simply enjoying the area with a coffee in hand. While I live near Jean Talon Market & often shop there, Marché Atwater offers its own charm & is definitely worth a visit. It's a great spot to grab fresh, local goods & enjoy a relaxed outing in Montreal.Voir plus

Went to Premiere Moisson for pastries. Really good service & good quality. Expect the market to be quite busy on a Sunday. However, parking spaces available & overall a great place for finding all sorts of groceries & local farm products. Would recommend to anyone with fine taste in food!Voir plus
Bon marché historique, produits d'excellente qualité (prix en rapport!!😭) . Certains marchands sont heureux & sympathique , ils nous autorisent à rêver un peu devant leurs étals bien garnis de saucisses ,de fromages ,de fruits & de légumes rutilants tels des Cadillac, on en prend plein les yeux & si on a l'odorat éduqué le ventre se met vite a gargouiller sévère... Il y a aussi des plantes,du pain des gâteaux & des vins,de quoi satisfaire les plus exigeants. Parking extérieur gratuit & recharge électrique possible . Je vais à ce marché depuis des années & surtout pour les boucheries, les fromageries, la poissonnerie & la boulangerie. Je vous suggère d'éviter les stands de fruits & légumes qui se font passer pour des agriculteurs. Ils achètent leurs produits chez les grands distributeurs comme Canada Wide & Geatan Bono. Le pire, c'est qu'ils achètent ce que les grands supermarchés ne veulent pas mettre sur leurs étagères. Ce sont les fruits & légumes les plus chers & les plus vieux qu'ils vendent. Je ne dis pas qu'ils ne cultivent pas de tomates, de concombres, de carottes, etc., mais soyons honnêtes, ils ne cultivent pas d'avocats, de mangues, de citrons, etc.Voir plus
Le bâtiment de l'extérieur n'est pas très joli. Mais à l'intérieur de très bons stands de produits, charcuterie boucherie de Tours, boulangerie Première Moisson, torréfacteur . Toilettes.Voir plus
Atwater is great for fresh meats seafoods & cheeses all year. The fruit & veggies are less during the winter. Atwater is smaller than Jean Talon market. Easy to get to by bus or metro. Atwater is right next to the canal & one can walk & enjoy the sights.Voir plus

What a gem of a market! Located in the charming section of Saint Henri, this farmer's market is a must visit. Next to the canal, it is easily accessible by bike or on foot. There are a variety of restaurants, local farmer's stalls, fromageries, a brûlerie, boulangeries, boucheries, & all kinds of interesting shops to explore.
