I would give 6 stars if I could: the bread is out of this world, the pastries even better, I would definitely come back!

Edit: I have to change my review years later. The last 4-5 times I have come, my husband & I both noticed a marked decline in quality. This latest visit was the final nail in the coffin. The baguette was hardly baked (barely brown & mostly white all over), about 1/3 the size of any other time I have visited & softer than a Maxi store brand baguette. Cutting it with my usual bread knife proved challenging & ended up squishing the baguette into a patty as I tried to be as delicate as possible. The chocolatine was dry & lacking the signature buttery texture/flavour that I have come to know & was burnt (black around the edges).

Their breads & pastries are always fresh & delicious. The chocolatine's are to die for!

Delicious pastries, bread, & jams! Alex was so helpful & accommodating, running back & forth between the front & the kitchen to check on some items. Highly recommend & will definitely be coming back to try their other yummy goodies!

When we stayed in Quebec, we went to this bakery every morning. The pastries were all delicious, flaky, & the best amount of sweet. I don't speak much French, so they made sure that they understood what I said, often going into English. Overall amazing & worth the 20 minute walk. We enjoyed croissants, almond croissants (which we think had honey in it), baguettes, circular raisin pasties, choclatiers, & circular chocolate pastries.
