The Lili & Oli staff are always super friendly & service here is usually quick. The cafe itself is very cute with plenty of seating, though it is almost always busy, so watch out for that. They have giant windows that let in loads of afternoon sunlight, & overall the vibe is cosy & relaxed.
The brownies are delish, the cheddar chive scones are a dream, & while I am not a coffee drinker & cannot speak to that, their teas (hot & iced) have always been very tasty. I had my first ever matcha latte here too!
My one disappointment is their new-ish policy about laptops on the weekend--they are not permitted before 2pm on Saturday & Sunday. I always go to a cafe to catch up on some creative projects on Sundays & Lili & Oli used to be my regular stop. Since implementing this policy I haven't been by as much, which has been sad. However, this policy has meant that the cafe has become much less busy over the weekends thanks to fewer people parking at a table for hours, which would make it the perfect spot to stop for a coffee with a friend or a good book!View more

This is by far the best Lili & Oli location in the city. The baristas are so friendly, & they make the most delectable iced lattes. My personal favourite is to pair a chive & cheddar scone with my coffee. If that wasn't enough to convince me to come back here all the time, they have a beautiful terrace in the back of the store! Their little patio feels like an oasis full of plants to lift your spirits. Visit this coffee shop if you want to start your day on the right foot.View more

Very poor experience. I have had the chance to sit down & enjoy their snacks & drinks before, but I didn't get this far today. The shop was mostly empty, so I asked about the NO LAPTOP SIGN at the counter before ordering, since I came to study on my TABLET & thought they would let me. The particularly rude barista said no & explained that this was meant to « let people connect ». There were max 10 people sitting down & plenty of empty space. I was really looking forward to sitting down with my scone & iced tea, but they lost another customer to this senseless policy. I don't ever plan on coming back & have made Cafe Saint Henri my go-to replacement spot.View more

Love it here! My boyfriend & I had our first date here 7 years ago & ever since then it's been a place we love to go back to. I love that they use coffee cubes for their iced coffees/lattes! & they're little snacks & treats are always tasty! The staff is always so kind too :)View more
