Food was okay. we ended up not being super hungry. We asked for the food to go, 20m after they just give us the bill, food never came. Wasted $100Voir plus
We had dinner here since it was walkable from our hotel. The food & service were both great. We started with the crusted goat cheese & strawberry salad which was very good & unique! For dinner we got the paella & it was very good/fresh/flavorful. Highly recommend!Voir plus
Exceeded culinary desires. In a peaceful & romantic side street away from the hectic tourist. It warrants 5 Star Michelin. Merci BeacoupVoir plus
Very good service! Always had someone refilling our glasses. Very polite staff. Food was great other than the French onion soup being too sweet. Everything else A+Voir plus
It was ok but I just felt a bit disappointed in it overall based on the price paid for the meal. I'd think you'd get more than two scallops for $25 & it suffered very poorly in comparison with the other really memorable meals we have had in Montreal. Just much better places to go. So nothing bad, just nothing great either but the staff were very nice.Voir plus
Went there for Father's Day. Food was ok. We felt that we were rushed even though restaurant was empty (apart from us there was no one at the restaurant at 11:15 am - outside in terrace seating there were 4- 6 people). The wait staff tried removing the soup bowl before it was finished. He apologized, but later he did the same with the main course dish. We had to tell him that we are still eating. The wait staff added the tip amount by himself & passed the card reader. The tip % was more than we had planned to give due to our experience. Hopefully, they train the wait staff better so people can have better dining experience!
Overpriced & underwhelming tourist trap. We went during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend. Actually, we were shocked we were able to find a table for a large group, but after eating there it became clear. The food was mediocre at best & shamelessly overpriced. The paella was dry, underseasonned & had mostly mussels, a few tiny clams & three shrimp, not any chorizo to speak of. The grilled squid was boiled & absolutely had no flavor. The onion soup was too sweet & unbalanced in flavor. The fried trio platter, tasted of rancid oil & was a bit burned & heavily coated with oil. A couple of meat dishes were dry but edible. Service was good but not outstanding. Not a place I would return to or recommend. We left wondering where all the five star reviews came from.Voir plus
Good patio, convenient location in the downtown. But it is so overpriced & the staff is rude. We had to wait 45 mins for our food, which i don't understand. We got veg pallela, lasagna & duck. Food was alright, but the experience just lacked something - promptness & warmth.Voir plus
J'ai modifié mon avis après ma dernière visite. Le calamar à la plancha était à peine cuit & baignait dans l'huile. Mais le riz était délicieux.Voir plus
service was good but the paella grains were not properly cooked :(Voir plus
Wonderful restaurant in the old port of Montreal. We went for lunch & ordered the beef cheeks, the lamb shank & the profiteroles! Excellent recommendation & service from our waiter Martin. Loved this place.Voir plus
A very enjoyable evening. A good selection of Spanish wines & excellent Spanish inspired dishes. Patient, attentive, friendly service from the waiter, Kevin from Angers. Definitely an address to revisit.Voir plus
The service was very good, but the food was disappointing. We ordered the fish soup, goat cheese salad, & Catalonian anchovies to start. The salad was good, but the anchovies & soup were just okay. For the mains, we had the beef tartare & plancha calamari which were on special. We were disappointed with our choices, as the calamari dish was not seasoned & the calamari was a bit chewy, but the rice was pretty good. The beef tartare also disappointed us as the beef was chewy & the potato crisps were stale. Overall while it is a nice restaurant & the staff was amazing, we were disappointed with the execution & quality control of the dishes we ate in comparison to the amount we paid ($240 for the meal & a bottle of wine + taxes & tip).Voir plus
