My wife & I were visiting Montreal & looking for Vegetarian friendly restaurants. What attracted us to this menu was that they had a small section of specific vegetarian dishes. & very interesting choices. Great atmosphere & service topped it all off.Voir plus
Visited Pyrénées for dinner & I have to say the food was awesome. I really enjoyed the French onion soup & the lamb shank. The only issue I had was the service was very slow. Took well over an hour from the time we sat down to get our food. Other then that I'd give this place a tryVoir plus
The food was so good that we were surprised that there was no other customers at the time of our visit in the afternoon. Great interior, great food, great staff.
We totally demolished the first tray of baguette so we were offered a second tray. We ate too much bread because the dipping sauce was soooo good that I could not even finish half of my paella after😂.Voir plus
Food was presented well but not very good especially considering the high prices. Shrimp main dish was $45, contained 4 shrimp served in a sauce, & were unpeeled & not deveined & overcooked. Vegetables on each dish were bland & not cooked with any attention to flavor or texture. Very hot & crowded where we sat. Strawberry almond arugula salad surprisingly included a lot of diced tomatoes, & strawberries + tomatoes do not go well together at all. Service was friendly but with several mistakes. Overall not a good experience.Voir plus
Absolutely loved our dinner at Pyrénées in Old Montreal! The atmosphere is charming & cozy, perfectly matching the historic vibe of the area. I was especially impressed with the strawberry & goat cheese salad-so fresh & full of flavor. The scallops were perfectly cooked & simply delicious. Service was outstanding-friendly, attentive, & made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great Spanish dining experience in the heart of the old town!Voir plus
Service was pretty good & friendly. The paella I got was very dry & the muscles were tiny. I would go back though. Atmosphere was cozy & warm.Voir plus
First, I thought this was a Spanish restaurant & asked for croquetas then I was told they didn't have them.
I said, but this is a Spanish restaurant, I was then told, no this is a restaurant from Catalu?a, hmm well in the region of Catalu?a there are no tapas but pinchos, but no croquetas uhm weird.
Anyway, I ordered an arroz catalan, yes a starter but ordered a larger plate.
When it arrived mine & my wife's were not warmed enough.
I asked to be warmed up. My wife preferred not.
When it was brought back, then it was much better.
Also, it was advertised that they sell creme Brule, if the place sells plates from Catalu?a then, they should have had crema catalana.
I also asked if they had tinto de Verano, a popular Spanish drink, & then was pointed to the sangria menu & not what I had asked.
Service ok but not satisfied.Voir plus
I feel like the lunch special is the best thing; lots of tasty choices so you can try something that you've never had before with a reasonable portion size.
Absolutely delicious food & exceptional service. The server had excellent recommendations for wine. Very highly recommended.Voir plus
Très bonne paëlla. Bon Rioja. Beau cadre. Serveur attentionné.Voir plus
The food was excellent, the service was friendly & efficient, & the room was pretty quiet for the amount of people in the restaurant. It was a great experience for a date night!Voir plus
I had a great time. The food was amazing. The service was impeccable. The quality justifies the price.Voir plus
Very nice discovery in the old port of Montreal. First visit here on New Years Eve. Even if one of the chef got hurt in the morning, all the staff worked really hard to satisfy everyone. They asked us to move our reservation to help them & it was a pleasure for us, we had such a great evening. One of the best paella outside of Spain. Very nice menu & lots of choices also for vegetarians. They accomodate everyone of us for allergies & food intolerances. We where a group of 8 & everyone agreed that this is a spot to know. Wish i could have stayed in town a few more days. Can't wait for my next trip in Montreal.Voir plus
Tasty appetisers & good wine. The place seemed understaffed & they were disorganised. This is the crème brulé I received after waiting for 40 minutes. Seems a bit bland. Joking aside, the food is ok but the service needs improvement. Not good value for money. My plate had many fingerprints on it. The place was too noisy.Voir plus
For me, the service was better than the food. For appetizers, we tried the seared scallops with creamy pork chorizo sauce & the grilled octopus which were both good. For my main, I tried the beef cheeks & was disappointed with the flavours - the sauce was underwhelming, & the vegetables were a bit soggy & under-seasoned. I felt like a bit more attention could be given to the preparation of the dish & the flavour of the sauce could be refined.Voir plus
