Les Enfants Terribles offers a lively and stylish setting with a warm, welcoming vibe and a terrace that enhances the experience. Service is consistently friendly, professional and attentive, with guests appreciating helpful guidance on dishes and wines and quick, efficient handling for groups and families. The food tends to be well executed and satisfying across brunch and dinner, with varied options, generous portions and quality ingredients, and the menu is often praised for coherence and thoughtful pairings. While the ambiance can get a bit loud at peak times and a few evenings show minor missteps, the overall experience remains enjoyable and refined, making it a reliable choice for casual meals, celebrations and business lunches in downtown Montreal.

I visited Les Enfants Terribles during a recent trip, originally planning to come for brunch, but realized they only offer it on weekends. Even so, I decided to stay. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, making it a great spot whether you're catching up with friends or just enjoying a casual night out.
The service was friendly & attentive without being intrusive. Our server checked in at just the right moments, keeping everything running smoothly while still giving us space to enjoy the meal at our own pace.
As for the food, nothing felt overly complicated, but everything was well-executed & satisfying.
Note finale : 3,5 étoiles sur 5.
I was a bit gutted they were no longer on the top floor overlooking the city. But it still turned out to be a quite enjoyable brunch. The decoration & setting was on point, the service was good & the food had a nice blend of quality & quantity without being too fancy. Quite a lovely-'can't go wrong' spot of you're in the area of town for breakfast or brunch.
Great service, delicious food, wonderful atmosphere! We came for an early dinner the night before & immediately made a reservation to come back for brunch today!
Alexandra was great. She answered all our questions & even made sure we got a special request.
Had an excellent Mothers day brunch at the bar. Service was quick, attentive & the food was excellent. I thought I would be dissapointed when I learnt they were no longer on the roof with the view but the service & food made up for it.

Has always been one of my favourite restaurants, even now that it has moved to the 1st floor of PVM. We were seated at a spacious booth right next to the windows. The restaurant was well heated, very cozy. Always clean. Our waitress was solicitous & pleasant. We went fur lunch/brunch on Saturday morning. I ordered the tuna tartare à l'asiatique with the fries ($35). The tuna was very fresh. My son had the big breakfast dish, La Totale for $21. He liked it & I found it was good value for your money. It came with three pieces of toast but they could have put a bit more butter on the toast. He would have preferred more than just two bacon slices in the dish. My daughter enjoyed the Shanghai salad ($18). It was decently sized. It was a bit spicy but she liked it. If you are a big eater, you can order bread (which comes piping hot with butter on the side & no extra charge). One thing that really stood out was the care they take for allergies. 5 stars for that!! The waitress & the manager (not sure?) were super attentive. They even brought me a different sauce to use with my tartare since I could not eat the ponzu sauce that usually comes with the tuna tartare.
Booked for a brunch from 12 - 1 for 3 individuals for a birthday. We were a little late to arrive, at about 12:07. On arrival, the waitress said she had a great table for us but it had to be cleaned. The terrace was about half full but we wanted to be sat indoors. We had to wait 10 minutes for the table to be cleaned up, although half the restaurant was empty. Once we were seated, our waiter asked us if we wanted still or sparkling water (we opted for still) but once he left, he didn't return; another waiter (I assume the Maître d'Hote or floor manager) served us water & apologized for the wait, which was appreciated! When our original waiter returned, he took our drink & food orders. After leaving our table, it took quite another while before we had our drinks... When we got our cocktails, it was already about 12:40, & our food got to us at about 12:58pm. Seeing as I was on a lunch break, I asked the waiter to pay my bill so I could eat & leave as quickly as possible, & even paying took another 8 - 10 minutes before he returned with the mobile cash. All in all, the food was excellent & the location's really beautiful, wide & luminous but the service was pretty exceptionally slow. It didn't seem to be a staffing issue & the restaurant wasn't so overwhelmed... Regardless, I'll most likely be back but on a day where I have time to spare!
It's very rare that I actually leave a review for a restaurant but I was shocked at how bad my brunch was. My friend made a reservation here on a Saturday. I was excited because I heard of the resto by name, so I was expecting good food. I ordered the Breakfast poutine. The cheese wasn't poutine cheese, possibly cut up mozzarella. The brown sauce was a type of water downed béchamel sauce & the pulled pork... tasted like it came from a can. Anyway, there's so many places in Montreal where you can have a great brunch experience, this level of mediocre was astounding. We also waited about 30 minutes for our bill. Anyway, I do not recommend.
