This was a recommendation from a local in Verdun & it did not disappoint. It's a bring your own wine with a table d'hôtes ranging between 34-38$. The lamb shank was delicious & falling off the bone & the cauliflower "fries" were a great starter. If you're in the area give them a quick call make a reservation & go. There's an SAQ walking distance away if you didn't plan ahead ;)

The food is delicious & the staff is super nice. We had a great time & will definitely come back Ps: it's better to make a reservation especially on the weekend since the restaurant is small (but cute) & get booked fast
Le nourriture était correct, mais pas exceptionnelle. Le problème principal c'est que ce n'était pas bien salé, qui est décevant vue que c'est si facile à faire. Les crevettes à noix de coco sont excellent, le reste seulement ok. Ils ont le potentiel d'être très bon si c'était bien salé.
I had a birthday dinner there & everything was absolutely impeccable. Food was delicious & you get so much food for what you pay for. Staff was incredibly kind & lovely. They let us stay pass the closing time & were so accommodating! Atmosphere is cozy & clean 10/10 would recommend. Thank you again !! ❤️
Cuisine juste assez exotique pour nous dépayser. Le chou frit par exemple fut une belle découverte. Service courtois & personnalisé. Vaut mieux réserver, c'était plein le soir oû nous y sommes allés.
Délicieuse découverte dans Verdun. Une cuisine bien relevée, pas trop chère, & très exotique! Tout était très bon, de la petite entrée de chou frit au plat principal, poulet à la sauce rougaille, vraiment délicieux. La façade ne paie pas de mine, mais quand on y entre, on découvre un petit endroit familial chaleureux & plutôt intime. À voir!
Endroit simple, hôtes agréables qui se font un plaisir de partager leur culture avec des livres & de superbes photos. La cuisine est savoureuse & le services courtois & attentif.
Le décore reste simple tout comme a Maurice,mais dans l’assiette c'est la magie dégustative ! les samoussas,les boulettes chouchou ( un délice ) meilleures que les boulettes " Bakkar " a Maurice qui a pourtant la réputation d'avoir les meilleures boulettes chouchou de l'ile !
Le carry ourite ( poulpe ) le bol déviré,son carry d'agneau,fondant a point ,sa sauce piment maison,très relevée comme a Maurice,son mine frit,son bryani ( sur commande tout comme haleem ) ,je ferme les yeux,je mange & j'ai l'impression d'hêtre dans ma famille a Maurice.
Que du bonheur,je conseil a tous ce restaurant ou les patrons sont d'une gentillesses comme savent le faire tout les Mauriciens.
Je reviens en mai & j'aurais plaisir a me régaler a nouveau.
Un grand merci a Jerry & sa charmante épouse pour leurs talents culinaire & leurs accueils.

You can mix-&-match your meal, pairing a choice of meats & seafood with different sauces. Most plates come with a cabbage appetizer that is original & amazing. The soup is also delicious & included in the meal. You can add appetizers if you want but the portions are so generous that you don't really need to! A lot of the food is fried & can be heavy, so maybe not the best choice if you are on a diet... But the coconut shrimp is to die for.
Staff is very attentive without being overbearing.
From the outside the restaurant doesn't really look appealing. The decor isn't inviting or modern... But it's gone better over time.
