Review Summary

Les Délices De L'Ile Maurice offers Mauritian cuisine with Indian, Creole, and Asian influences, delivering flavorful dishes at very affordable prices, with a popular bring-your-own-wine option and a generous table d'hôte. The coconut shrimp is repeatedly highlighted as a must-try, along with fried noodles and a tangy vinegar garlic sauce, and portions are described as generous. The restaurant feels small and family-run, with a warm, convivial vibe and generations of commitment; reservations are recommended due to limited seating. Service is generally praised as friendly and attentive, though a few visits note it can be slower during peak times, sometimes affecting dessert. Overall, guests celebrate fresh, well-prepared dishes, consistency over the years, and the sense of a beloved neighborhood staple that keeps drawing diners back.

Great food & very reasonable prices.
The coconut shrimp appetizer is amazing, as is the Cajun sauce!

You can mix-&-match your meal, pairing a choice of meats & seafood with different sauces. Most plates come with a cabbage appetizer that is original & amazing. The soup is also delicious & included in the meal. You can add appetizers if you want but the portions are so generous that you don't really need to! A lot of the food is fried & can be heavy, so maybe not the best choice if you are on a diet... But the coconut shrimp is to die for.

Staff is very attentive without being overbearing.

From the outside the restaurant doesn't really look appealing. The decor isn't inviting or modern... But it's gone better over time.

Price range: Appetizers $3-$4, mains $11-$14, desserts $3.50
