View more
Came here for Sunday brunch & it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Poached Eggs & the Pain Dorée. Also reserve in advance as it can get very busy.View more
Everything about this place is perfect. Been going here for 15 years + & yet the service, food & atmosphere has never declined. My new favourite (I usually stuck with tartare & mussels) is the duck with wonton. Ouffff it's delicious. Pain perdu is a classic & must have every time. For whatever reason I always need to get their goat cheese salad. Nothing crazy but hits the spot every time.View more
Their tartare de saumon is always on point. Even the breakfast with shrimp & salmon was simple but good & filling. Always will go back for the pain perdu.View more
View more
Had brunch there. Ordered the popular pain perdu (which I had had a year before) it was good but they changed the recipe & instead of vanilla ice cream & caramel sauce topping (like it used to be) it's now a mountain of bananas with chocolate & maple syrup. Really didn't enjoy this change as much. But the brioche bread was still very good! Underwhelming experience but still pleasant. Not sure if I would still recommend, though.View more
This Montreal gem offers an elevated brunch experience while maintaining a warm, inviting atmosphere. The space strikes a perfect balance between cozy & french traditional restaurant a place where comfort is at the forefront but the touches of elegance never feel out of place. It's the kind of restaurant where you feel at home, yet pampered, which is no easy feat. We gathered as a group of eight for brunch, & every detail, from the food to the service, was meticulously crafted. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Norwegian platter, featuring fish so fresh it seemed to have come straight from the sea to the table. The prawns were succulent, & the accompanying vegetables & salad added a refreshing, vibrant contrast. The Egg Benedict & Pain Perdu were also standouts, each dish executed with care & attention to detail. The finesse was undeniable-every bite revealed a layer of thoughtfulness, from the presentation to the flavors. Service matched the quality of the food. The staff was attentive & accommodating, seamlessly navigating the needs of a larger group without missing a beat. Their warmth & attentiveness added to the overall experience, making it feel as though the restaurant was made for intimate moments & gatherings alike. If you're searching for an exceptional brunch spot in Montreal, this is undoubtedly a must-visit. In fact, if we weren't leaving the city today, we'd already be planning our return visit for tomorrow's brunch. It's that good-a meal worth repeating.View more
Had the salmon tartare with truffle oil & unfortunately, it lacked flavour/seasoning. Did not get ant truffle taste from it, despite people saying great things about the dish! It was also extremely hot indoors (no AC?), which made it hard to enjoy meals & drinks. It would be good to have a water bottle/pitcher placed on the table as waiters were very busy. The star of the show was the pain perdu. It was delicious.View more
This is a gem in Montreal. Classic French Bistro with a twist. Service is great, food is amazing, you can't go wrong with Lemeac. You can do business lunches, romantic dinner or birthday parties. Please enjoy a happier life after tasting the PAIN PERDU. Thank me later. PeaceView more
i would literally eat there everyday if i could, sadly i don't have money for that but i've been there countless times & it never gets old :) the crab cake never fails the duck confit is delectable THE PAIN PERDU is a must try & the bread they serve before the meal is soo good for some reason like some might think it's a little tough but NO it's great edit: FINALLY went there for brunch & omg it was delectable edit(2): went there for my birthday again & yeah always impeccable as per usual. it might be my favourite place in the whole world.View more
Must save room for the Pain perdu dessert. I recommend sitting on the side patio on a beautiful day ☀️View more
We went there couple of times & last time it was for our anniversary. We love it! Both the steaks & desserts are very good. We tried beef tartare for the first time & it was really good & refreshing. Rib eye is always good & cooked to perfection. I think it's better without the sauce that comes with it. Mashed potatoes also passed the test. For dessert, we always take pain perdu & rum baba. Both are very good. Pain perdu is not heavy & is very well balanced. If you are going for more fruity & fresh dessert, go with rum baba. We tried most of the other desserts too before but these two never failed. For coffee we liked americano better than filter coffee. Again good combo for the desserts. The ambiance is good. We love the tables next to the window. The staff is friendly & fast. Compared to the other french fine dinings, we really like Lemeac & it's worth what we paid for. Thanks for the experience!!View more
My boyfriend & ( were celebrating our birthdays. We had the salmon tartare & eacargots to start. It was one od the best tartares I have ever had, amd that includes in France. The truffle oik & salmon flavors woth fresh minced shallots & herbs was simply magical. I could have eaten 3 more of them, I had duck confot with tender meat & perfectly crisp skin, served with a salad in a dijon mustard vinaigrette, & woth a few roasted crispy yet tender potatoes. My boyfriend had a creamy veggie rissotto, & we ahared a HUGE dessert of pain persu woth a maple syrup caramel & housemade vanilla icecream. We will be back 🥰View more
DOMMAGE !View more
View more
J'y enverrai tous mes amisView more
