J'ai eu la chance de dîner au restaurant Lemeac à Montréal & je dois dire que c'était une expérience exceptionnelle du début à la fin. L'ambiance élégante & chaleureuse du restaurant crée une atmosphère parfaite pour une soirée spéciale. Le service était impeccable, avec un personnel attentif & sympathique qui a su répondre à nos demandes. Mais ce qui a vraiment volé la vedette, c'est la cuisine. Les plats étaient délicieux & préparés avec une grande attention aux détails. Chaque bouchée était une explosion de saveurs. J'ai particulièrement apprécié les joues de veau braisées à la bourguignonne - c'était absolument divin.

Je suis allée plusieurs fois pour dîner & pour souper à ce restaurant avec des amis. J'adore ce restaurant, les plats sont excellents (notamment la joue de boeuf braisé, le crab cake, le risotto ). Le menu comporte une grande variété de plats. Il y a des options savoureuses pour les végétariens. Les serveurs sont compétents & sympathiques. Il y a une belle ambiance. On se sent comme en vacances. Un de mes restaurants préférés à Montréal. Longue vie au Lemeac!
I like this place the appetizer I got was escargot with tomato & mushrooms which was delicious! Then I ordered the beef hanger steak, I couldn't eat it at all bc the meat tasted like what cows smell like when u visit them at a farm. The fries that came with the steak were amazing. The restaurant was kind enough to remove the steak from the bill without me asking for it. I would come back but for sure will not order meat whatsoever. I will probably got for fish or chicken next time. The service was amazing & friendly.
I enjoyed my time at this restaurant. The servers were all quite friendly & the food was top notch. I tried their french toast which is not typical of what I eat for lunch but it was still pretty tasty. It was very rich, & sweet so it was a bit much for me but I can see how others might enjoy it. Next time, I would love to try their savoury dishes.
Ce restaurant tourne comme une montre Suisse, tout est toujours parfait: que ce soit la réception, le service ou la nourriture, tout le monde connaît son travail & le client est toujours satisfait. Je ne me rappelle pas d'avoir eu de mauvaises expériences chez Leméac dans la dernière décennie.

Beau restaurant, plutôt achalandé la fin de semaine (prévoir une réservation). Très belles assiettes dans l'ensemble & service rapide. Nous étions là pour le brunch.
First time in Montreal & was recommended this restaurant. On entering the atmosphere was buzzing as we lead to our table
The waitress that served us was unhelpful & when asking for recommendations on the French menu did not give much advice.
Could not fault the starters of escargot but the mains were presented like pub food!
Ordered hanger steak & chips & that was exactly what was received - small steak with a very large plateful of chips.
Duck, salad & fingerling potatoes - little amount of potatoes, much more salad
When paying, omitted the tip as was going to pay cash - was harassed by both the waitress & the maître’d as to why a tip was not given by credit card at the time of payment.
Sorry - would not recommend this restaurant
Je suis cliente depuis de nombreuses années mais ma dernière visite m'a vraiment déçu, c'était un midi & pour juste avoir un plat & un café cela nous a pris plus d'une heure & demi, des personnes arrivées après nous ont été servies avant & parties avant nous. De plus mon plat préféré est le foie de veau & celui-ci a perdu la moitié de son volume & son prix lui a bien augmenté.
Première visite dans ce restaurant & totalement satisfaite. Pas de fausse note, produits excellents, service correct, tout y est pour passer une excellente soirée.

Hier soir, je me suis assis au bar comme d'habitude & cela depuis l'ouverture du Leméac. Je m'y rends 3 ou 4 fois par année & à chaque fois, je me paie la totale! Jamais je n'ai été déçu & cela tant au niveau de la cuisine que du service. Hier, on m'a servi
le demi poulet de Cornouailles sur un lit de ratatouille, accompagné de frites de polenta & d'une salade de tomates hyper fraiches commandée en extra. La chair du poulet était tendre & juteuse & la portion plus que satisfaisante! Sophie & Vincent, tous les deux derrière le bar, se sont occupés de moi & franchement, on ne pouvait espérer une meilleure prestation de service!

I liked the atmosphere. Classy & elegant. The food is of course expensive. Service is painfully slow. Like for real! It will take forever to get anything from your main course to a glass of water.
The food was flavourful & great quality though.
This is a Montréal staple restaurant where you can always get good food, service & nice wine. Unfortunately it has joined the group of restaurants that now gouge their customers. They used to have a terrific selection of nice wines at fair prices but this is no longer the case. We paid way too much for the wine A bill for 4 people was $700 including tax & tip. Ridiculous & not worth it. Too bad as I won't be going back anytime soon.
