In one word,'wow' - what an amazing experience we had at Leila?? The minute we entered the door, the service from everyone was exceptional. Special shout out to Danny, our server, who presented the menu options with such passion & enthusiasm. Amine Laabi was kind enough to stop by to talk to us as he helped us decide on our final choices. We decided on a shared menu for 2, which I highly recommend: marinated peppers/ olives/ pickles, sardines on toast, ricotta brown butter, octopus on a bed of white bean purée, tagliatelle ragu, & last night's special - capellini with lobster. Everything was scrumptious & decadent while plated beautifully on what seemed like my grandmother's heritage dinnerware. We were so full that we opted out on dessert but the options all sounded delicious. The ambiance is warm & inviting with its eclectic, vintage decor. We will be back - I highly recommend Leila & it's Mediterranean cuisine❣?

Great food & service at Leila. The bitter lettuce & artichoke salad, pasta dishes & the skate fish all amazing! Cozy atmosphere with excellent & attentive staff. Highly recommend!
Wow. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The Cornish hen & beef cheek falling off the bone, the cod cheeks absolutely bursting with flavour. Wow!!!
On top of that, the service was impeccable. Phil was so warm & inviting, & our food arrived in nicely timed, well-served portions.
This restaurant is fresh, authentic & a unique approach to North African food. The Italian influence is subtle, but present. To top it all off, the wine selection is greatly curated, & their sommelier (who is surprisingly young!) is incredibly knowledgeable.

One of the best dining experiences in Montreal! The food was absolutely amazing-flavorful, fresh, & beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, making us feel truly welcomed. Plus, the cozy ambiance made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Ma copine & moi avons passé une excellente soirée dans ce restaurant. L'ambiance était agréable, le staff nous as bien conseillé & nous as offert un service hors pair. Nous avons commandé en entrée les merguez & la mousse de volaille qui était servie comme spécial du jour. Comme repas nous avons partagé l'assiette de joues & de pois chiches & les patates marocaines. Nous avons terminé le repas avec un merveilleux dessert à la pistache. Chaque élément de notre repas était délicieux, les portions étaient parfaites & à un très bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.
Sincèrement, tout était délicieux ! Je pense que j'ai mangé le best risotto ever. Le service assurée par un serveur adorable. Je recommande vivement pour une soirée entre amis ou avec sa moitié.

I absolutely love everything about this restaurant - from the delicious food to the amazing staff & the overall vibe. I even got to meet Chef Amine & his lovely team, which was such a treat! Towards the end of the restaurant, there's a cozy space with couches & beautiful antique decorations that made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place 100% !!!
