The restaurant had a nice vibe, we sat at the bar which we enjoyed. Our waiter was really kind & explained the whole menu while giving a us good recommendations. We especially loved the steak & its sauce as well as the dessert. Great place !
Le service & la nourriture sont excellents.
Nous avons prit la pieuvre (un must), la stracciattella (le beurre à la sauge est hors de l'ordinaire), la salade amer (très bonne & spéciale), le poulet (tendre & juteux), la dorade (excellente) & le dessert à la pistache (WOW).
Pour boire nous avont prit un espresso martini (un des meilleurs en ville) & un martini tomate & basil (bon & spécial).
The food is good, but the portions are tiny for the price. We have to order a dessert just because the pasta was really not enough to fill you up. To finish with a 70$ bill (on a wednesday with the special) its a bit steep. If the price was more proportionate to the portions, it would be great.

J'ai passé un repas en tête à tête avec mon épouse chez Leila sur recommandation d'amis, & on a pas été déçus.. Même plutôt super satisfaits !
Les plats sont vraiment super bons, j'ai notamment pu prendre des pâtes aux girolle & veau, tout simplement incroyable ! Super savoureux, des goûts ronds & doux. Le service est top, les équipes sont agréables, de bons conseils !
On conseille de prendre 2 entrée à partager & 2 plats pour 2 personnes. Les portions sont justement dosées (peut-être un poil légères pour les gros mangeurs, mais pour nous c'était parfait !). Les desserts sont aussi top, j'ai pris un labneh fouétté sucré avec des fraises & un granolat sésame, à tomber !
Seul petit point à noté (mais qui personnellement ne nous dérangeais pas trop) : La terrasse donne sur une rue assez fréquentée niveau trafic donc cela peut-être un poil bruyant par moment si vous êtes sensibles. Mais bon, si c'est le cas, mangez à l'intérieur, la salle est top !
Entrée, plat, dessert & verre de vin pour 84 CAD avant tips. Cuisine simple avec de bons produits. Ne vous attendez pas à des plats complexes & raffinés, mais plutôt à des classiques méditerranéens réussis. La salle est petite & l'ambiance est parfaite pour un date. Un restaurant qui aurait pu se trouver a Marseille sur la place aux huiles .
I think that was some of the best service I have ever experienced in my life. Our server took such care of us, care in the truest meaning of the word. I finally understand the difference between service & hospitality.
They had to turn the table over so instead of just doing that, we knew the deal, they gave us 2 desserts on the house for the trouble. Which is just so above & beyond.
This place has so much heart, is so well managed, the bitter salad was delicious, a fantastic new spot.
The Salad was good with twist of bitterness & the crispy onions. The lamb seemed a bit undercooked but flavour was on point. The guinea fowl was a 10/10 flavorful with the lemon sauce & mushrooms.
Sardine toast was probably my favourite, wish there was more. Sardine spaghetti was ok, i found the sardines to have a completely different texture than the sardine toast which i personally didn't like. The spaghetti itself was well cooked & flavourful.
The desserts were average, nothing special.
The ambience is very cozy. The service was very friendly but a little too slow.
Une ambiance chaleureuse, un accueil sympathique, le service excellent! Nous avons goûté plusieurs plats partagés à 4, accompagnés de très bons vins ajoutant à l'expérience. Les cocktails étaient aussi très bons, ce qui démarrait bien cette soirée qui fût parfaite jusqu'au dessert! (excellent gâteau aux pistaches, & quoi dire de ce délicieux dessert au café dont je ne me rappelle pas le nom). Mon coup de coeur va aux sardines & aux merguez! Quelle belle soirée! Même le choix de musique nous a plu!
Leila est une véritable trouvaille & un incontournable de Montréal qui saura vous surprendre & vous charmer.
Appelez-les même si leur système de réservation affiche complet : il y a de très bonnes chances qu'ils puissent vous accommoder, que ce soit dans l'alcôve à l'arrière ou au bar à l'avant.
Le personnel est compétent & passionné, & l'échange avec eux rend l'expérience encore meilleure.
Leur cuisine témoigne d'une réelle maîtrise technique & d'un soin attentionné.
Demandez des recommandations : on vous orientera vers des plats que vous auriez pu écarter, mais que vous regretteriez de ne pas avoir commandés en les voyant arriver aux autres tables. C'est d'autant préférable de leur demander des recommandations, que le menu change au rythme des arrivages de saison & surtout car les descriptions des plats ne rendent vraiment pas justice à ce qui vous attend.
Les portions sont généreuses & prévues pour être partagées. Les desserts étaient si réussis que j'envisage déjà d'y retourner prochainement simplement pour un digestif & satisfaire ma dent sucrée.
I am very happy to report that our experience last night was truly amazing. At first, we were a bit perplexed by the menu. There are only about 10 items. We ordered a salad, two pasta dishes, & the Cornish chicken. Long story short, the Cornish chicken was by far one of the best chicken I've had in my entire life. The best dishes were awesome, the salad was really good. Every meal was spot on. Not only the recipes are amazing, but most importantly the execution was flawless. Absolutely flawless. To add to all this, the desserts were truly amazing. Not some fancy I can type of dessert. But very good pistachio cake, & amazing basque cake with peaches. Last but not least, everybody was super friendly & a service was awesome. We can wait to go back.
