It was our first time at LeDon Donburi & it did not disappoint!!! Atmosphere was awesome (especially for anime nerds like ourselves) & the menu was amazing, we wanted to sit & eat everything off the menu hahah. Alex & Eric were great, very nice folks & kept us entertained the whole night. I could tell they were really passionate about the food they make & I look for that in restaurants esp since I don't eat out often. I'm just as passionate about cooking (& food in general) & I just know a lot of thought & love went into creating each item on the menu-our compliments to the chefs!! Overall 14/10 experience, we are 100% coming back & bringing friends with us.Voir plus

Eric nous a reçu comme si nous étions des amis même si c'était la toute 1er fois que nous y mettions les pieds.
Il nous a expliqué le menu, son restaurant, comment il est devenu proprio avec son compère Charles.
Les employés sont tous supers gentils. Le service, ultra rapide. Pas dispendieux.
La bouffe quant est sans aucun doute ce que j'ai mangé de meilleure depuis longtemps. Une belle découverte. Outre les sushis, je ne connaissais.pas réellement la cuisine Japonnaise.
Nous avons pris les entrées, tous...sauf une.
Nous avons partagé ça entre nous les 3 filles. C'était excellent.
Pour l'ambiance, c'est très petit. Plus ou moins 16 places dans ce minuscule endroit & ce n'est pas un endroit pour manger durant plusieurs heures. C'est pour moi le seul point négatif.

The food is soo good & flavourful. Make sure you ask for their hot sauces because they elevate the dishes! The workers are also wonderful! Super funny guys & the bartender makes great mocktails. Just tell him what flavours you like & he'll make you something that compliments your food.Voir plus

I was told by a friend to visit together to this unique restaurant the they found from the internet together. The restaurant has the Japanese feeling, with a lot of anime related decorations & the Japan themes. The place is a little bit small, but it feels like you are in a real small restaurant in Japan. The owner & the staffs are super friendly. The food is amazing & it's rich in flavour in every bite you take. They offer some tea variant & they also have alcohol imported from Japan. The price is also not as pricier than I expected & still in a good price. Overall a really good place to eat, with a delicious food & a good price.Voir plus

Here's one in M-o-n-t-r-e-a-l that's serve some traditional Donburi that would make you feel like if you were in JAPAN! 🇯🇵🍛 LET'S GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!~ (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)💗💕💗💖💕💖💕 First off, they got a pretty ✨️AwEsOMe✨️ very varieties on their menu for the entrees, the main dishes to the drinks (they also serve alcohol as well!)🍵🍶🍸🍹🍺🧃 & a few desserts !! 🍡🍮🍦 My husband & I as starters we took a takoyaki , a korokke & a karaage & oh my gosh, it was sooooooOOOoo 💕d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s💕 The kaarage was sooo tender & not dry at ALL! I've been to tons of restaurants before & this place serve one of the most tender chickens that would be one of top place to go eat in Montreal for that 💕💖💗💗💖❣️💖❤️❣️💗 what especially hit us in the entrees is the korokke one because it was our first time trying since my husband like curry & nugget ("croquettes de pomme de terrre" if I'm spelling it correctly but might spelt it wrong) really took my partner's heart that he told me that if he could, he would totally get 10 orders more of the korokke one for to go (maybe I'll buy for him next time because my wallet gonna cry for sure 😅🥲) Secondly, the mocktail that we let the bartender decide for our drink was 🙏 SO tasteful & gives a nice sweet taste that I already forgot what they put in as the ingredients since it was one they make it freely but don't intend to "do it again twice" as quote the bartender because it was the Alex Mocktail - "Master's choice". My gosh my paragraphe is so long already & I didn't even to talk about the main dishes yet 😅 I have so much to tall about my experience in here ! Alright so thirdly the Donburi, We took one Gyudon with the extra raw egg (the tender beef) & one the Katsudon & it was just ✨️perfect✨️ the way it is! It was low-key the first time my husband tried a Donburi & he told me that "This is what I expect when it comes from a pokebowl." (In most pokebowl restaurant they usually servers with way too many ingredients & he hates to see when the bowl is too many vegetables & I often had to ask in the pokebowl order for him like no veggies except like cucumber pretty much 🥲) I told him we call this a donburi & now he fell in love with donburi & probably gonna ask me in the futur "can we get donburi or/& korokke 🥺" that's for sure! The donburi has simply the perfect amount of meat, rice & only have like two type of vegetables that... surprisingly my partner eats Everything (at this point if he could eat the WHOLE bowl he would probably do that) which I never see him finishing eating the veggies at ALL 🤯 !! Then here goes the dessert with some matcha genmaicha tea there, we took the flan pudding one & oh wow the person who serves us the pudding was jiggling around our plate to the others customers who were sitting next to us & then do the dessert wiggle infront of us as well ✨️🍮🍮🍮✨️ once we took a bite of the 🍮, it was very sweet & yummy !! I really like the little sesame seed touch, I never thought to put that on mine pudding before! 💛🧡💛🧡 Lastly, gosh I'm writing a whole essay rn, ambiance & service I must say,11/10,120/100 .. it's over 9000 !! the service in here was incredibly heart welcoming, cozy, chill, open minded, friendly even being in a very small place, we stayed for like hours in there till their closing time oops- I don't know even if it was my first time being in this restaurant, I feel like I knew them from a long time, it was like a cool spot to eat & talk openly with others & the staff ! We were talking throughout the rest of the night discussing & laughing so much that it was something I needed after a shift a work. Super friendly, Alex service is top notch 👌 I doubt I'll laugh as much like that in a restaurant/bar place that's one thing for sure ! The place is pretty tidy but yet full of love to the theme choosen (japan/anime vibe) Overall, fantastic service & food, thanks to the team for the fun time in this lovely night of September 2024 (we come back again for korokke..)Voir plus
